Read moreThere were positives and negatives to our stay, but unfortunately I doubt this is somewhere we would return to.||The positives – We stayed in a pitch-side view room, and the view was truly amazing. It was lovely to sit with a morning cup of tea while watching the ground staff prepare the pitch. The large windows allowed plenty of natural light into the room, and the air conditioning made it easy to adjust the temperature. We already knew that curtains had to be kept closed during Blackpool games, but were pleasantly surprised at how well the sound was blocked when fans were in the ground.||The negatives – There were a few issues in the room that you simply don’t expect in a 4* hotel charging £200+ per night. The bathroom door had chunks missing on both sides and looked very tired. More concerning was the black mould growing on the shower head, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned.|We also experienced problems with other guests which the hotel failed to address. A large group of children were staying at the same time, and the children were running through the hotel with little awareness of other guests. On several occasions we found ourselves unable to move along the corridor because they were running back and forth, which was especially difficult for my fiancé, who has mobility issues. In the hotel bar, while we were trying to enjoy a meal and watch the football, the same group allowed their children to shout and run between the tables, even bumping into us as we ate. This escalated when they brought in a very loud speaker, making it impossible for my fiancé to cope with the noise, so we had no choice but to retire to our room.||At check-out I shared this feedback honestly with the receptionist, who encouraged me to email the hotel. I did so, but my email has gone unanswered. I wasn’t expecting compensation—just a simple apology and acknowledgement of our frustrations. Sadly, this lack of response has reinforced our decision...
Read moreWe stayed here for a weekend break and absolutely loved it. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.||The room was spotless, spacious, and the bed extremely comfortable. The highlight was definitely the pitch view – it made the stay feel really special.||Breakfast each morning was excellent, with plenty of fresh and warm options. On our last day the hotel was quieter, and instead of the hot buffet we were told the chef would make anything we wanted fresh – such a nice personal touch, and the food was delicious. We also had dinner one evening, and the menu was very good – fresh food, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Drinks in the bar were just as enjoyable, with great service throughout.||The staff really made the stay memorable. Every single person we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A real standout moment was when we called ahead to ask for snacks and drinks in the room after a long drive. Everything was waiting for us on arrival, chilled with a bucket of ice – such thoughtful customer service and brilliant communication from the team.||A special thanks also to the housekeeping team – they were wonderful. Always polite and respectful of our stay, you wouldn’t even know they were in the corridor until leaving the room. They always took the time to say hello and ask if we needed fresh towels, bins emptied, or the beds made. A great example of teamwork all round from everyone in the hotel.||The location was ideal, and the added bonus of staying at the stadium meant we even met a few players inside the hotel, which was an amazing experience.||For the price, the service and quality we received were outstanding – far more than we expected. We would happily return again and again, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel to...
