Roly's Fudge Pantry — Local services in Great Britain

Picked this store for my fudge based on a quick "research" while in st Ives. I'm not a fan of fudge so far so wanted to see if it tastes any better here in Cornwall. Store location is great and has an inviting entrance with a brief history of how it all began on one of us exterior walls. After tasting a few samples, I settled for the sea salt, honeycomb and vanilla clotted cream. Of these three, the sea salt surprisingly was my favourite as it balanced the sweet with the salt perfectly. There were many more flavours bit I didn't want to overdo it so for a bag of these three. Was a bit disappointed to see the quantity for the £10 price but guess that's the price for the quality you get. The only freshly made fudge I could find in St. Ives! This doesn't necessarily mean there isn't any other, but all other fudge shops I visited are selling the same stuff and don't make it themselves.

The fudge is one of the best I have ever eaten. It is darker then most others (which might be due to more caramel) and all kinds share the same, brownish colour, but don't let that fact make you think all flavours are the same! In fact, they have some fancy flavours well worth a try.

Roly's seems to be a franchise label which requires the shops to make the fudge locally and according to their quality standard, which I think is great. They have around 30 stores at the moment. I saw another one in Salisbury and it was as good...

I was not aware of Roly’s until my cousin requested I get some for her while at St Ives on holiday. The shop is conveniently located just before walking towards Portminster Beach. £10 for a box of 300g, not too bad could be cheaper but it is lovely indeed though, well worth the price. The only inconvenient thing I encountered was I wanted to pay with a £50 cash and they were not accepting it, a little disappointed as I needed change. Understandably ofcourse they have their reasons but should invest on this as there are still people that carries cash specially...
