Royal Mail — Local services in Great Britain

I'd like to give a higher rating for this post office, but I can't. I don't think I have ever been to this place without there being a problem. The staff are generally friendly, but I have been spoken to rudely on more than one occasion. The waiting room is very cramped, there is often a huge queue, it's run down, there is a lack of parking, I have 'lost' some post here before and It's just not a pleasant experience. The posting times are not all that bad, but does that really matter if the delivery driver leaves a blank/incomplete calling card or doesn't bother at all? Terrible service! The old white man that worked on 6th Nov 2024 4pm-6pm was so unhelpful, dismissive and rude. Shocking that Royal Mail can even hire such people. I was genuinely confused as to where my parcel had gone, he told me to go to my local post office which turned out to be the wrong place. When I came back to say it wasn’t there and I had spoken to customer service to confirm it was at this location he was so ignorant and unhelpful in assisting me with what I should do next. 15 November 2018, after 5pm - I went to enquire about the whereabouts of a parcel with the woman behind the desk. She didn't even greet me but loudly said, "Postcode, please." twice as if I didn't hear her. This rude tone of her's set the precedent for the rest of the conversation as she continued to act disrespectfully as I explained to her my situation - all in front of the other customers in the queue.
