Windsor Riverside Walk — Local services in Great Britain

Always a nice place to walk. Great for the river, swans, the park, the brocas opposite and so close to the castle too. The wall got partially demolished along with the integral lamposts and their earlier twisted flame shades some years ago but most of the charm remains. While the promenade is lovely, scenic and peaceful in general until the tour bus unloades all selfie hungry tourists who take up the whole space and block the narrow walkway. And then there are their animal counterparts swans, geese and ducks who are competing full on with tourist herds not to be outnumbered.

Since they're fed mostly the same junk food that people eat, they've become very demanding and obese. The swans officially belong to the Queen so I guess she will...

Very surreal to see something like this. This is what nature is and this is what we need. Just around the river makes you feel calm. Swans ducks pet animals. Just nature and animal friendly place. Really good place for family to seat n spent time together. Came with our friends whom we met after 9 odd years but felt home with them. Grab a coffee n chat for long hours.
