I have been a student of Amy’s for over a year now, and I could not imagine my Wednesday nights without her yoga class.
Classes tend to be small, so the experience feels more personal, and the school hall setting is far more peaceful and relaxing than you might think. The class is a mixture of revisiting ‘old favourite’ poses week on week, and testing out new, slightly more advanced movements.
However, you do not have to be extraordinarily flexible or athletic to take part in Amy’s classes. You will not be left behind or made to feel unfit: the atmosphere is encouraging, and the emphasis is not on achieving the perfect yoga pose, but on listening to your body and treating it with kindness.
I particularly enjoy the focus on mindfulness that Any brings to her teaching. It’s an extra dimension that takes this far beyond an exercise class: it’s a welcome reminder to breathe! I always look forward to taking 75 mins out of a stressful and busy week to relax and reconnect with my body and mind.

I like to do this from time to time to stay more connected. The perfect blend for me personally. I am more focused on the yoga than the mindfulness, but I find that yoga gives me a sense of general wellbeing I know that students who are also interested in that area of Amy's expertise find her a good teacher. So whatever your approach to yoga (and to life) I really believe that Amy is a positive and...
Read moreI have been attending Amy’s yoga classes for many years and I can thoroughly recommend them . There is often a theme such as gratitude and postures which she breaks down so we can practise them over several weeks . It is an hour off from this hectic world to concentrate on rebalancing and calm ....
