Ordered food last night and asked for burgers plain, burgers were sent with everything on, tried to call over 10 times and no answer from shop. When I eventually got through they couldn’t find our order, when order found we asked if they could send out 2 plain burgers and they can take the other ones back. After over an hour of waiting for the new ones to come we rang to see where they was and they had no clue what we was on about, they then remembered and said yes they are on the way and shouldn’t be long . Then got a call from what I think was the manager asking if I wanted salad on the burgers even though I had asked 5 times for no salad, I explained I have just called and they said they was on the way!!! Let me start by saying I'm not a donner person, but something told me that this place was going to be different and boy was I not disappointed! It was the best I've ever had!

Portion sizes were on the large side. We had the mega kebab and it was HUGE. The two of us couldn't finish it. It was turkish, seekh and chicken kebabs with naan and salad. With the chilli and mint sauces it was delicious.

The wings were full wings, not just the mid-section like you get in some places, and the meat just fell off those perfectly grilled wings...

The little one had popcorn chicken and it was perfectly cooked and presented.

The places was very clean and the staff were very attentive to your needs and wishes.

When The Grillo Originally opened the food was amazing, as was the service. The food would arrive in nicely packaged boxes, fresh and piping hot and would taste great. Now, the chicken is often over spiced, or soggy or overcooked. The Cheese/beef burgers used to be some of the best around, really tasty and not tasting like a takeaway burger. Now they are horrible, taste like some cheap burger from the back of a burger van and are so pale. Recently ordered Peri Peri fries that costs a little extra and they always come with next to no seasoning on them. Also ordered a burger that went straight in the bin after taking 2 bites.
