Buongiorno Deli — Local services in Liverpool

Recommended this gem of a place by a neighbour.

I like the availability of the products. Genuine Italian products and good quality ingredients especially the meats and biscuits.

Some of the items are slightly expensive but if you're keen on supporting local businesses rather than online shops then it isn't that unreasonable a price.

Its locality is great, I no longer have to trudge to city centre for my everyday Italian food. Though parking can be difficult occasionally but tbh I could just not drive.

The owners are really friendly, take the time to talk and engage with you, they are helpful and give good advice if you want to try something new.

They even have a little area to dine outside which whilst I haven't done it does look lovely.

I've been to Italy a few times now and travelled North to South, East to West and what they say on their website - feeling as though you are in a local deli in Italy - couldn't be more true! I had a small plate of antipasti, olives, cheese and Italian bread, with a glass of red wine, sat on their terrace to enjoy the sunshine and, after the first bite of cured meat, was transported back to my Italian holidays.

We order different kinds of salamis and ham, and when we collect them, we buy cheese and other stuff. They sell different versions (e.g. different kinds of Picante, fennel salami, etc.). The quality of the products is excellent, they keep very well (we tend to buy whole rods of salamis). There is some discount because of the amount we buy. The service is excellent, very friendly...
