The receptionist on the desk was lovely. The bartender was a true gent, and the lady who exchanged chips was kind. The Dealer on Blackjack in his late 40's- 50's with black short hair, however, was extremely rude and antagonistic towards me for no reason. At first I thought nothing of it until my friend highlighted the fact and it was indeed true. The dealer reprimanded me for using a single curse word during a hand I lost which he was justified to do obviously but immediately let the man sitting next to me use f bombs in succession and laughed with him. I just still can't wrap my head around it.
I asked the receptionist if he has ever received complaints, to which she said she hasn't heard anything and he may just be having a bad day but would be happy if I wished to make a complaint. I choose not to as I didn't wanna be a Karen. But I just can't stop working myself up about it. I just wanted to enjoy my 30th birthday and play Blackjack with some friends and instead left after our drinks due to being treated with an air of hostility, and a level of snobbery you only ever get from a politician.
It's so frustrating when the rest of the staff was so nice...
Read moreHorrible experience given by a pathetic male GM who kept saying he's got 35 years experience. Ordered some food and stated clearly I was using the points on my hubby's membership card. Food was served and no questions were asked. After finishing the meal, I was asked to pay as my hubby was not at the premises and I could not use his points. We are regulars and we always go together but not this time. I told the GM his staff should have told me in the very beginning. Guess what he said ? "I've 35 years experience in this trade and I don't need to tell you about that beforehand". The funniest part was yet to come. He said I had a bad attitude. I just asked for an explanation, no swearing or sth like that. Forget to take his name but I can describe this experienced GM to u all. He's about 160 tall and in his late 50's. If u fancy this kind of service, don't wait, just pop in Genting Renshaw Street, Liverpool. You...

On a recent visit , the casserole dish used to serve the dish was clearly badly over used . The surface paint of the casserole was all peeling off . This creates a health hazard in that those loose paint could easily fall off to the food .
The same applies to some of the rice bowls having loose surface paint coming off .
There have been price increases twice since the restaurant reopened after the lockdown. Surely, the customers do not mind paying extra but the health hygiene is...
