This is a warning, do not park here. I've just come out of hospital after my partner having panic attacks following the treatment of this company and now they're taking stress medication to address this. I parked here, paid the money. It registered under an incorrect VRN. I was certain I put the correct VRN, but the company failed to provide me with the details to demonstrate this despite me requesting the information under a SAR. However, I demonstrated that payment had been made for the stay. The company accepted that I made the payment, but saw fit to still hit me with an admin charge of £20 for the error. I appealed to POPLA, and I'm still waiting the outcome of the appeal. In the meantime, I have received a letter from Group Nexus (the company ParkBee use to chase fines and detached themselves from that side of the business) saying the POPLA appeal was unsuccessful and I owe £170. I haven't received any notification from POPLA yet fir the outcome of the appeal. When I first received the fine, as I knew I had paid, I thought this was a scam. Now this is happening, it pretty much looks like one. My advice, avoid all car parks run by this company and park ANYWHERE else to avoid any potential unfounded charges. Ask yourself the question, if you had paid the amount due to the company, the company accepted that the payment had been made, but still say that a penalty charge is applicable is that fair? If so park here, it may happen to you (I would note how many times this appears to happen here). If you don't want to take a chance that the company will try and find any reason to give you an erroneous parking charge, park at the NCP on Mount Pleasant instead where there is no ambiguity regarding payment. I'd like to say finally to ParkBee, thank you for this, customer service that is so bad, it...
Read moreI have parked in Liverpool Central Village car park twice now purchased a ticket twice I still have the receipts in my app and twice they sent me a parking fine. The first I didn’t receive the first letter so they sent me a second with a stupid high fine on it which I’ve appealed with ticket evidence and bank statement evidence which I put down to a one off as it did take me over 10 minutes to find a space before a ticket could be purchased as this is a busy car park and law states you can’t use your phone whilst driving so a ticket can only be purchased once parked as if I didn’t find an available space I would have left. Today came home to the second parking fine again ticket purchased and this time I added extra time on the end of the ticket to allow for any time spent looking for the space which again took me 9 minutes to find one and I over paid by 16 minutes yet here I am with another fine that I’ve contested with proof of ticket on my app and proof via my bank statement this is stupid when there is evidence and I will not be using parking bee or this site any more and recommend others to be wary of this parking lot as Ive come to be aware I’m not alone in this. The anxiety these letters cause especially when the first was not delivered so the second threatening court and credit issues is not right I’m disgusted in this company as you cannot speak to a human and they don’t respond via emails or the appeals which the first was appealed weeks ago DO NOT USE TILL THIS ISSUE IS RECTIFIED AS ITS CLEARLY AN ISSUE NOT LINING PAYMENTS UP WITH CARS AND YES MY ACCOUNT APP I USE TO PAY HAS MY REG LINKED TO IT...

I always parked here, always paid. on December 12th 2023, I parked, I paid (Apple Pay) typing my reg # at the machine. The Machine just hung - we waited 15 mins- BTW there was no one there, no number to call, nothing. Before I left I confirmed payment on my Banking App. It had gone through just fine.
A few days later I got a texts telling me I hadn't paid, and got a letter asking me to enter details. I filled in their online form and shared copies of bank statement. Then heard nothing but endless threatening letters from dodgy debt collectors the kind that look official but are aimed at frightening you with the pay £400 now or we'll take your house ... you get the idea... I pretty much ignored them thinking that they were a scam. Then Sept 2024, after I got back from my holidays, going through my stack of mail, I got a wad of paper from "The Civil National Business Centre" threatening court action. (Turns out it's a real court ... who knew?) the name), and then another telling me that the court had reviewed and decided a fine and CCJ of £287.32. Only option was to contest form (N244)with a £303 court fee and a mandatory requirement to attend a court in Northampton and no guarantee of success.
What a total scam. I just paid.
Be wary, Always get a receipt and keep it.
Update - they no longer give...
