After staying in the hotel for the night we have had the WORST experience out of all the hotels we have ever stayed in we asked for a big bed as we have our child staying with us as specified in the booking what we come to find once entering our room was 2 single beds pushed together and one single quilt inside a double sheet covering the bed after taking the quilt out of the sheet we found it was absolutely covered in yellow stains that smelt odd and where slightly damp after going and speaking to the receptionist he told us “I can get you a new sheet but we have no more quilts available” basically telling us one of us should sleep on with nothing but a sheet over ourselves! He then told us about the beds being zip able so I went to check as we could not allow our child to sleep on the end of a single bed next to us as she could fall off in the night! The zips were broken! So our baby was forced to sleep in her pram as we could not risk her safety the noise outside was absolutely horrendous until 4am we are a family who booked a hotel to sleep and not spend the night awake because of noise in the hotel and around it! Non of this was made clear on the booking ex specially the bed situation once i checked out I asked to speak to the manager and she came from somewhere out of the building once telling her of our problems she asked if we would mind if she inspected the room after doing so she came back down and proceeded to call us liars! And asked if this was the case why we chose to stay and the answer is simply because we didn’t have anywhere else to go!! We have had no sleep and a crying baby all night after her becoming aggressive and accusing me of smoking drugs in her room and smoking drugs around my baby I asked for my deposit of £100 pound in cash back (which also was not made clear on the booking) her reply “ someone allowed you to pay £100 cash deposit? Ok then wait there because I smell drugs in your room” I have never done any drugs in my life and certainly would not do drugs around my child in someone else’s hotel!!! I am absolutely mortified and in shock she even threatened to phone the police and have me arrested for smoking drugs around my child I actually cannot believe it this is truly disgusting and I would like to demand a full refund as this is totally unacceptable I have photos of the dirty wet sheet as proof we are not lying about our experience if this is the service that is acceptable on Agoda I will be looking elsewhere in the future

I booked a two-night hen party package at the Arthouse Hotel Liverpool but had concerns after seeing a First Gazette Notice for compulsory strike-off for Arthouse Liverpool OPS Limited in June 2024. When I reached out for clarification, responses were vague, and I was simply assured everything was fine. Upon further research using publicly available records, I noticed multiple County Court Judgments (CCJs) against the company, late-filed accounts, and financial links to other entities within the group. This raised concerns about the overall stability of the business. Given these red flags, I decided to only pay a deposit—which I later requested to be refunded. Unfortunately, my emails have been largely ignored or met with generic responses, making the process frustrating. To make matters worse, just one week before the booking, we were informed that while we could still stay at the hotel, all the additional activities, club arrangements, and dinner plans included in our package had been cancelled. This was despite the company knowing months in advance that these would not be available. Rather than communicating this honestly at an earlier stage, we were simply told we had to accept what was on offer. At the very least, they could have admitted the issue upfront and refunded the deposit so we could make alternative arrangements. Instead, this last-minute change added unnecessary stress to planning a hen party. If you’re considering booking, I would highly recommend doing your own due diligence beforehand. Based on my experience, I would personally err on the side of caution with anything linked to this hotel.

If the management got their act together and organised this hotel, I’m sure it would’ve been a fantastic weekend. 14 of us visited this hotel to celebrate an hen party we booked numerous events which consist of a two hour masterclass cocktail making, bottomless brunch, a two course meal in Zen and breakfast . Firstly, the masterclass cocktail making event, no one knew anything about us so therefore it was all just put together in a rush. We were told go and dance. I’ll make cocktails for you which then came out of cartons. Some of our party expressed that this is not what we paid for and insisted on making cocktails which was just an absolute disaster covering us in glass and cocktails, after 40 minutes they told us to leave due to the disorganisation. The meal in zen was delicious but took two and a half hours for two courses , we sat for one hour before any food arrived and each course we had to complain about waiting before we got our food . The bottomless brunch was held in the overgrown bar which was decorated beautifully with light up wings , a swing surrounded by flowers etc but unfortunately it was a very disappointing event . it was for two hours but we didn’t get our first drink until 40 minutes later , they weren’t enough staff /waitresses it was extremely busy and to me it looked overbooked . The cocktails were served in plastic glasses and the afternoon tea food was stale . The breakfast was again served in the overgrown bar , this was absolutely disgusting the food was cold ,dirty and unorganised the staff looked as though they didn’t have a clue what they were doing and in the end we went elsewhere for breakfast . We did inform management/ staff about the disappointing events whilst still on our break but we were informed that to complain we had to fill a review form in when leaving and nothing could be done during our stay . The rooms were clean but unfortunately between 14 of us they was only one toilet which the flush kept breaking , one sink with no mirror this had to be used for washing pots , faces and brushing teeth. Some members of our group did go in the large bath but said it felt dirty and slimy. We had a fire alarm at 3am but no staff came or informed us if it was a false alarm or not , we had to ask other guest for information . Overall it was a very disappointing stay , the management need retraining or replacing it is a place which with the right management and organisation could be great . I would love to have any feedback from the hotel because so far they haven’t responded to our...

We booked the skyline suits in this hotel for my sister’s hen do and paid £2,500 for the weekend, expecting something special. Sadly, what we got was the complete opposite.||||From the moment we arrived, the problems started:||- The air conditioning was completely broken, making the rooms feel like a sauna. Several of our guests had to go home at 3am because they couldn’t sleep, and half of the group didn’t stay the second night. Even one of the staff admitted she wasn’t comfortable letting us stay in that heat. Three fans were eventually given to us, but they sadly didn’t do much to cool down 12 people. ||- The Roman bath (one of the main reasons we booked) couldn’t be used properly. The water drained away quickly because the plug didn’t work, and security told us management weren’t available to fill it further, leaving us sat in a puddle. There was also constant dripping noise which further disturbed people’s sleep. ||- The place was dirty - cobwebs in corners, sticky mess on the balcony floor when we arrived, and empty toiletries in both bathrooms.||- The balcony bench was broken and unusable and the main speaker didn’t work - luckily one of us was local so got a speaker dropped off. ||- The welcome prosecco we were promised on arrival only came after patiently asking multiple times.||- Breakfast, which we hoped would be a final saving grace, felt more ‘D of E school trip’ rather than the ‘luxury’ we expected. Each of us was given a brown paper bag with a small croissant, a split-pot yoghurt, a carton of juice, a small apple, and a box of cereal - but no milk provided. For the cost of the stay, this really didn’t match what was advertised.||||To be fair, the staff on duty were polite and tried their best, but the problems were far beyond their control. We emailed twice after our stay to give the hotel the chance to respond, but both messages have been ignored.||||For the price we paid, this was completely unacceptable. The basic facilities weren’t functioning, the advertised ‘special touches’ weren’t delivered, and the whole experience was ruined. A hen weekend that should have been memorable for the right reasons turned into a stressful, uncomfortable stay.||||I really hope management takes this feedback seriously, because at the moment it feels like they are happy to take people’s money without delivering...
