The front of house staff don’t let the back of house staff down at all - Niall and his team are very welcoming
We had the sweetcorn fritters with chorizo salsa and a fried egg and the roasted tomatoes ,avocado cream , red pepper paste and pine nuts - both dishes were no more than a tenner each .
We have eaten here in the evening and have always had amazing food - they have a good deli too with some fantastic French wines and cheeses to choose from - they do excellent hampers as well as other French produce which make excellent gifts too.
In this economic climate where eating out is a treat it is great to be able to support an independent establishment who really do put the extra effort it - at very affordable prices too

Even though the restaurant was fairly quiet my wife and I waited over 15' for our starter ( in fact, my wife had to remind them!). We then waited a further 20' for our mains. I ordered the special, Dover sole which, I have to say, wasn't special. It was mostly bone smothered in peas with fries. Dauphin potato and veg would have been a more fitting option. My wife had steak which she said was ok. I had to ask for another plate for the bones as they were mixing with the ( small amount of flesh).
