Soho may becoming "more residential" but that does not necessarily mean more local people. For us Berwick Street market adds colour, vibrancy to what is becoming more of an area where people buy flats "for investment purposes" rather than adding to the character of Soho. That is why Berwick Street market is so important Down the Peter Street end for example there is a fruit and Veg. stall run by someone we call "Grandad" who is a really nice guy who is around 70 years old. He has been in the area for decades now and I have known him for around 25 years. A real character and someone who really adds to the character of Soho. Long live Berwick...

Berwick Street Market has to be the best place in London to eat! Go all round the globe in 100 metres. All the food stalls are excellent; Jerusalem Falafels, Beefy's Burgers, Afghanistan Delights, Miso, Greek2Go Kebabs and Burgers. Pitstop (opposite the Blue Post pub) is my personal favourite.
