I hate to leave a bad review but this was really disappointing. We booked weeks ago for a birthday party of 14 people. When we arrived the restaurant was full and it was clear our booking had been forgotten even though I could see our table at the top of the list on their iPad. We were taken to the basement - a totally silent second room with no one in it, with one side of the room filled with ladders, suitcases and other junk piled up. It actually shocked me that in the whole massive downstairs space, the waiters decided to set up our table right next to all this junk. They didn't even apologise for it or move it. Safe to say there was zero vibe down there - which was really sad and disappointing for what we thought was going to be fun 30th celebrations. One of us ordered (or tried to order) an Aperol Spritz (something that was on the menu) and it took 3 different waiters (all of them lovely but just a bit hopeless) coming and asking us what it was before we finally managed to put the order in. And after that whole palaver it took 20 minutes for us to get any of our drinks. We all went for the Rodizio which started so slowly with tiny single slices of garlic bread that we were all actually laughing at how dire the situation was. When the meat came out some of it was really nice, but it all just felt so pokey and small, and often people were being left out (even though their green card was up) or served laughably small portions. At the end we were all full, but it really didn't make up for how bleak the atmosphere had been and how frustratingly slow the service was. And it definitely didn't feel like we'd got value for money. Such a shame as we were really looking forward to a fun and lively Rodizio experience but it just...

I recently visited this restaurant with my child, hoping for a good meal. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. While other tables were served quickly, our service was very slow. I couldn't help but feel that it was because it was just me and my child. a can of Coke was £4, and a bottle of water was £6. The staff were not attentive at all had to look over or call several times even tho a small restaurant. Despite specifying that I wanted halal options, the only items they offered me were potato salad and cheese bread chicken t.bone stake not halal other stake not halal. I went to a steakhouse for steak, not bread. To top it off, the manager informed me that they couldn't confirm if the food was halal as they had no certificates to prove it.
I left after 30 minutes, thoroughly dissatisfied. I should have asked for the service charge to be removed, as the service did not merit any additional payment. If I could give zero stars, I would.
If you're looking for a halal place to eat, avoid this restaurant at all costs. They do not cater to halal diners, and the overall experience was incredibly poor.

Read moreI am deeply disappointed with my dining experience at Touro Preto, having opted for it instead of Fogo de Chao. If you seek a traditional Brazilian Churrasco, this establishment falls short of expectations. In fact, it deviates significantly from the authentic Brazilian dining experience. The so-called churrasco served here are not prepared on a traditional skewer barbecue grill, but rather on a griddle in small pieces which is far from the authentic Brazilian style that you went in expe. The pão de queijo was subpar, lacking the characteristic flavor and texture. The farofa was absent, and the beans appeared to be from a can. While the all-you-can-eat concept is appealing, but nothing is displayed on a table you have to ask for everything. The service is lacking, and the dining experience feels somewhat begrudging. Overall, I find this style of all-you-can-eat dining to be unsatisfactory. Consequently, I will not be revisiting Touro Preto and will refrain from recommending it to others. The Guaraná was...
