Tuesday 29/12/24 at 6 pm I went to this boots in Covent Garden to buy some benefits cosmetics products. The service was very slow and it was impossible to ask for information because there was no one there. So I helped my self and when I finally found my pencil that I was looking for I grabbed it and excitedly tried it because I was sure I would get it. Suddenly the girl in charge of the benefits stand appears, with a threatening face she told me to buy the pencil immediately even though I kindly told her that I would definitely do it, and I made her understand that I would like to buy more products and would appreciate some help and therefore be grateful if she gave me time. In an impertinent way and with a super mean look she stood in front of the stand making sure that I did not see and buy. I left the stand and immediately thought about the disgusting service, the rude way and the lack of respect for a customer who is there to spend money. When I left the stand she followed me to make sure I would pay and with a lot of politeness I explained to the the cashier that I would like to buy more but it was not possible because of the girl but even here there was a refusal to my interest in buying. It is very sad to see these big brands like Boots settle for this ridiculous staff who have no interest in sales. The customer service of a while ago would have helped me and encouraged me to buy. I am sad to see this in stores in a country where customer service was excellent. One piece of advice I want to give to Boots is to update the reviews with the employees and send home those who do not want to work

I had by far the worst customer experience in Boots at this Covent Garden store. There were two young female, untrained staff who were giggling and gossiping as I was waiting for them to scan my items. They didn't pay attention to their job so they forgot to remove the security tag from the products. As a result, the shoplifting detector's alarm went off as I was leaving. This was very embarrassing as other shoppers were staring at me and I stopped for the staff asking them if they want to check my items but they didn't bother and let me go. If you don't know how to train your staff professionally, let us know so we can move on to Superdrugs.

This is one of the best Boots shops. It's very clean, neat and organised. The staff is very attentive and friendly, from the security guard (which he's lovely) until the manager, which is a very professional woman, with common sense and attitude of service, something that nowadays is very difficult to find. I wish I would've asked her name to mention her in the review because she is a very good asset for the company. It's always well stocked, it's stylish, and it's got lots of choices and selections for all pockets. It has a very welcoming atmosphere. It is very easy to find it because it is outside Covent Garden tube station. 😀

A Truly Wonderful Experience at Boots Covent Garden!!! 🤩😍🥰💗

All the customer service staff here are genuinely lovely, so nice, friendly, and helpful! 👍👍👍

I was searching for a few products to complete my set, and I found online that the Boots Covent Garden branch had everything I was looking for. So, I travelled all the way from somewhere near Southampton to London, and guess what? My experience was absolutely amazing! I’m not sure how, but every single staff member I met was incredibly kind and helpful.

Vaxx was the first person I met. She works with Estée Lauder, if I remember correctly. She was brilliant! She asked what I needed, carefully found the products, and helped me figure out which ones matched with the current offers. She gave me plenty of time to make decisions without rushing me. Even though she seemed to be in a bit of a hurry. I hadn’t known much about Estée Lauder before, but I'm just falling in love with the Ladurée version. That's the main reason of my visit. Thank you for your lovely service. 🙏

Arina, who I believe works with Armani, was incredibly quick and efficient. I asked about a popular foundation that wasn’t on display, and she literally ran up or down (I’m not sure which!) to try and find it for me. On top of that, she kindly gave me an extra sample, such a thoughtful touch.

Khadro at Drunk Elephant was absolutely lovely as well. She was happy to help me exchange an item so I could qualify for a free gift and some extra samples. And she did it all with such a warm, patient attitude, never once showing any frustration and so generous. 😍

Leanna was the second person I met, but definitely not the least. She stayed with me right until the end. You know how shopping is always more fun with a friend? Well, I came alone, but with her, it truly felt like I had a shopping buddy. She gave advice in such a natural, friendly way that I never once felt pressured or uncomfortable.

At one point, when I had quite a few items in my basket 🧺, she even offered to leave it at the till for me so I could walk around more freely and continue browsing. How thoughtful is that?! I took a while to explore and tick more items off my list (Top tip—bring a shopping list for yourself; it also makes it easier for the staff to help you!). And when I returned, she was still there and even helped with my payment. That really meant a lot.

There were also more amazing staff members who helped me during my visit, like someone at YSL, Dior, the perfume man near the cashier, and others whose names I sadly didn’t catch. I didn’t get the chance to write everything down, but I remember every moment clearly. These experiences are truly stamped in my heart. 💗💗💗

Honestly, all of them made my visit feel so special. I truly hope other customer service teams can learn from the incredible staff here.

Thank you all for your kindness and warmth. It’s rare to come across a team that works so harmoniously together. Not only did they help me find what I needed, with some lovely free samples too. But they genuinely made my day!

This was the first time I’ve ever walked out of a Boots store with a big smile on my face... like I’d just bought a luxury designer bag! Even though a few products weren’t available, I could see they had done their absolute best to help. My shopping bag was full and heavy, but I barely noticed. Because the experience was just that good.

It was absolutely worth the long journey, and I’m so glad I made the...

Thank you Chiara & Debbie!! I came into this Boots store on the evening of the 16th of April looking for some help to rebuild my makeup kit since throwing everything out. I needed to colour match my foundation, so I initially approached two other members of staff for help, who were standing around in the beauty section but didn’t seem too keen to help me as they passed me around until eventually Chiara came and assisted me.

I was with my (at the time) 22 month old daughter who initially was waiting patiently but soon got restless, this is where Chiara’s amazing customer service really came to light. Chiara was so helpful, patient and calm while testing different foundations on my skin as well as, engaging my daughter into the experience, talking and playing with her while I was deciding on what products I preferred. She made us both feel so comfortable and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed. She gave my daughter makeup brushes to help and read to her whilst also helping me. Debbie also came over to help give second opinions about the colour choices, and also entertained my daughter while we tested different shades. Both ladies were so polite; friendly and welcoming, they went above and beyond to create an enjoyable and helpful shopping experience. I was so happy with my experience and ended up successfully replacing a large selection of products for my makeup kit. I was in the store for quite a while, yet the quality of service remained consistent throughout the whole duration of my visit.

Chiara & Debbie thank you so much for making my experience so comfortable, pleasant and welcoming. Both ladies are an absolute credit to this store, and I’m so grateful for their service. After being dismissed by two prior members of staff, I was prepared to walk out of the store empty handed but these ladies turned that initial negative response around.

Boots are very fortunate to have Chiara & Debbie, they deserve all the praise! If I do need any more makeup, I would happily return for their assistance...
