Shocking and Inexcusable Customer Service at the Prescription Counter
I’ve never experienced such disgraceful customer service as I did today at this store's prescription counter. After being told at Sloane Square that a specific product was available here, I walked 45 minutes to this location only to be met with outright hostility and refusal to help. Instead of checking their system or making any effort to assist, the woman at the counter started shouting at me, telling me to "Google it" rather than doing her job and finding the product or ordering it for me.
Not only did she refuse to help, but she flat-out defied my request to order the product and refused to serve me at all. It was clear that the staff had no interest in providing even the basic level of service. I was treated like a second-class citizen for simply asking for assistance, and when I stood up for myself and my rights as a consumer, they had the nerve to label me as "rude" and completely refused to help further.
This store's complete disregard for customer service is inexcusable. The staff's behavior was not only unprofessional but downright disrespectful and degrading. To be treated like this is beyond frustrating and unacceptable—especially when all I wanted was the service I have a right to as a paying customer.
I would advise everyone to avoid this store at all costs if you value your time and expect to be treated with basic respect. This was an infuriating and humiliating...
Read moreI have a big issue with this store as the employees here are actively pushing customers to use the self check out tills and are hesitant to provide service unless one needs medicaments. This is an issue at multiple levels as the self check out system makes human workforce obsolete and it basically outsources the job of the cashier to customers. As a result of my experience I will never again buy anything at Boots unless they change their policies and assume a human centric approach. High level of customer service and preserving workplaces is more important than chasing profit and 'cost efficiency'. I don't see any reason why I should spend my money at a retailer who expects me to do the job of the cashier for free. If getting proper service from a human employee and preserving work places is considered to be unimportant, Amazon offers a way better...
Read moreI don’t normally write such negative reviews but I have to say that the staff here are completely incompetent. Firstly, they have introduced a system where many men’s toiletries are not actually in the boxes on the shelves; in other words, the boxes are empty and you have to take them to the counter to be retrieved from the storeroom. (I have never experienced this anywhere else.) I did so, the cashier took the payment, I had to remind her to retrieve the product, she went off for a good 5+ minutes and returned to tell me that they didn’t actually have the product in stock. Her supervisor then berated her in front of me for having taken payment before giving me the product, and finally someone else appeared to give me a refund. Don’t buy men’s...
