Poor experience at this store.
The bags. I requested a classic caviar Cc with gold chain upon walking in. The SA asked if I had an account with them. I said no. The disappointment in the SAās eyes was hard to miss. She said I had to be on waiting list to obtain one. Fair enough, I thought at first. I continued looking around the store then I saw to my surprise a Russian lady was looking at a black caviar small double flap with gold chain and was intending to get it but didnāt. I chatted with the lady for a bit and she was looking for a lamb skin with silver chain which they did not have and asked to be on waiting list for it. I then asked for the black caviar bag that she didnāt want but they said it was āreservedā. I refused to believe as the lady was allowed to purchase the bag! I believe this store required a minimum purchase before one was allowed to purchase a classic bag. This policy is discriminatory for people who donāt live in London or the U.K.
The shoes. I bought a beautiful ballet flats but I was shocked by the way it was given to me. It was the last pair but the price tag was still left on the sole of one shoe and the shoes were placed direct into the shoe bag. Maybe I was spoiled by Chanel in Paris where every shoe was wrapped tightly in the white paper then placed in the shoe bag. Then more white paper was placed on the shoe bags. These shoes werenāt cheap (Ā£650) so I do not believe it would be unreasonable to expect the shoes to be wrapped and given...
I am currently visiting the Sloane Square Chanel store. This is not the first time I have visited this particular store with the same staff. The staff are extremely uninviting. After walking behind me for several minutes and then asking what I am looking for? Which to me is an awful way of delivering customer services. It should be a matter of how can I help you to then having another assistant say I donāt understand, and told me to have look online. I have spent an entire ten minutes in the store before I got pushed out with there unwelcoming eyes. It is only this particular Chanel store that does this. I understand Chanel should be exclusive but like Hermes on the same road which were warming and inviting. They should deliver the same level of service. No matter how wealthy a client looks a hand bag should be a choose which takes someone time to pick and they should not be pushed to view that online. Not the first time I have been disgusted with the service here to the point I do not even want to purchase a Chanel handbag. For someone like myself who only wears brands like this I have honestly been completely put of from the experience. Please take note of the time 4:45pm -5pm Sunday 8th September ( so you can review your staff, from the male sitting on the table to the male and female sales assistant) as I would not want any other customer to feel such a way. Honestly from this experience I would most probably never wear a Chanel...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThank you to Nickie of Sloane Street Chanel team in assisting me to get a beautiful handbag for my granddaughter, trainers for myself. Despite all the complications I myself had made, Nickie had definitely provided ā¦me with a wonderful Chanel shopping experience. Nickie was just wonderful, she secured items in preparation for my visit, travelling from the North East of England and on a tight schedule, Nickie had everything organised for me. Unfortunately, a couple of the pieces i pre ordered didn't work out for me, but my other two items beautiful and will be cared for with love and treasured memories of my time in store. I was made to feel welcome by all staff that I encountered, I did not find any snobbery, or people been dismissive of me or my husband. My husband was offered drinks whilst he waited patiently for me. I am truely grateful to Nickie, the SA wonderful experience and thanks Nickie you have me Chanel hooked. Customer Service excellent made the whole buying experience a positive one for me. I will be a loyal returning customer. Thanks Sloane...
