This branch has out door sitting area pat from the tables outside. They have a beautiful instagramable! 😉area downstairs with the famous love heart walls( I’ll post some photos for you to see) and their famous pink horse statues ( like merry go round horses) Variety of cake slices and cold and hot coffees. They also do some eggs like a breakfast menu, and a brunch menu ( limited) , like some focaccia and pastries. Oh gosh, I like their cakes. As someone who does baking ( kind of professional! 😅) I like their cakes as the base is always fresh and fluffy and trust me, I have been in different branches so many times. 😅😅 So this time we sat outside in the open air area, (between Harrods and Zara) , and ordered saffron gelato and green tea and the famous’ BLUE SAPPHIRE ICE LATTE’ (£15 though) 😅 And I loved it 🥰 I’m not a latte person but this experience was amazing! It tasted really nice and presentation is gorgeous! 😍 Everything was good. Waiting time to get a table especially outside is 10-15 minutes. Service was good, although they were extremely busy on a Monday!! Management is not great though, as while we were in the queue as they asked us, to get a table, people were sitting on the tables outside without queuing or any questions! So you think at some point; am I wasting my time in the queue?! Or as a manager, you see this and will handle it. Overall, great experience, good service, amazing cakes and pastries. Will definitely go back again.

The plan was to go there and have a great start to the day with a nice breakfast in a popular place. Service was shocking, I still regret I left the service charge on, but I really needed to leave as soon as possible, as we waited an hour for our food and would’ve been late to the show at RAH. It wasn’t too busy, and three tables who arrived after we did were served much quicker, with one table already finishing their meals and deserts and packing up to leave by the time we just got our tea. So we sat at an empty table just looking at everyone else getting their orders and enjoying their food for around 50 minutes. It would’ve been a little bit different if anyone cared to keep us informed, but we had to chase a couple of times, and still didn’t get the update. Staff just stopped to listen to our concerns and walked off. No apologies, no reasons or clarification. Simply treated like ghosts and surely not like a valued customer. Atmosphere was awkward as well, with staff members looking lost and the place barely breathing with the energy it once had when it looked nice. My view especially was like I was in the middle of a building site with unfinished ceiling and some dangerous metal bits sticking out. This was a surprise to my partner and I wish I chose somewhere else. Definitely not coming back and I do not recommend this place, unless you enjoy lack of customer service and funeral type atmosphere in pink shades. Food also looked better than it tasted. All for show, but no real value behind any of this.

Hello. Being hungry to me and seeing the inviting window with sweets, I decided to come in. I saw that also had some baguettes with chicken and I decided to order......the surprise was when I saw that I was served with the baguettes these were exposed and uncovered (lucky me to have seen it in time). I asked if they were the ones on display and if they were fresh...they answered that "yes and they are made from 08.00 A.M"...only that we were at 02.30 P.M. I asked if I could get something fresh or cancel the order. At that moment a second person from the staff joined and claimed that they were freshly made at 08.00 am. I specified that the difference of 6.30 hours and the fact that they are not kept covered and in the refrigerated display case cannot be hygienic and safe for customers (some with allergies or even for children). At that moment, the third person came and assured me that he could prepare it fresh for me in the kitchen. Unfortunately, instead of baguettes, I received sandwiches because they only had baguettes at that time( nobody asked us for a replacement with something else). My wife mentioned that we asked for baguettes and the cashier's answer was direct..."they are the same price".....Can the people who work in this place tell the difference between baguettes and sandwiches??? If they should not be trained in this way, or hire professional people. Anyway, we couldn't eat those sandwiches because that wasn't our choice. Shame about the company logo. Very disappointed 😔

The highlight of my experience was Raffaella; when she greeted us in the beginning, she was kind, caring and helpful. My only positive experience in this place was her. After that, everything went downhill... service was extremely slow, waiters were arguing with each other in front of customers which made us very uncomfortable, food came very late, the waiter kept saying 5 mins and it's here (25 mins pass and still no food) and even the drinks came way after the food arrived. I do understand that you can be busy but keeping in mind how overpriced is this place, the location (Knightsbridge) and the brand, you shouldn't be understaff on Christmas's season, or have staff not well trained. No one came to check how was our food after we received it, the other was actually wrong: Cesar salad without chicken, burger with ingredients with ask to be removed and even some fruit had mould in it 😬 Funny enough when I ask the waiter where the chicken was he dare to tell me this salad had it on the dressing 😂 that you don't actually have chicken pieces on it. Same person left the take away boxes on a table next to us so the other customers will put their food by themselves on containers. A disaster. I would never come back or recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately since the decoration is cute. Maybe less effort of cuteness and more on service.

Total unprofessionalism, staff who treat the customer with disrespect. Being past lunch, 02.40 pm, I went into the EL&N location near Harolds. I had a choice between sandwiches and baguettes. I ordered two baguettes with chicken from the machine. The surprise came when I was served with the last two baguettes displayed in the uncovered "showcase" near the entrance door. I refused because the aspect didn't look fresh, and beings uncovered I didn't want the extra aroma (of dust). They said to me that they are prepared in the morning at 08.00 am. For me, 6 hours exposed uncovered and at room temperature do not turn out fresh🤮. I was approached by another staff member who assured me that I would receive other preparate in the kitchen immediately. Here comes the second surprise.....my order comes with two sandwiches instead of two baguettes. I retaliated because it was not what I asked for, and the answer I received was totally unprofessional......"they are at the same price" 😡 . Can there be hope that qualified people will work in such places who, in addition to respecting customers, also to know the difference between a baguette and a sandwich?? It's a shame about the name of the company because the quality of the services is very low😡
