I visited this pub yesterday night after work. At one point, I was at the counter trying to order some drinks for my colleagues, so I waved my hand. The manager said that this was rude and that I will have to wait, so he served the next person. Another barman came so I asked him 'can I be served now?' The manager thought that my question was rude and I should have more respect for his team so he told everyone not to serve me. I have tried to speak to him and ask him what did I do wrong, he said he already explained to me and that I am not going to have any drinks tonight. He said that I shouldn't speak to them with this attitude. I even said that I was willing to apologise if I did something wrong, but he kept ignoring me and did not want to speak to me at all. I was puzzled. My colleague came, he was served, when was the moment to pay I went there with the card (because it was my turn to offer drinks) and the manager did not allow me to pay, and instead he decided to throw away all the drinks that my colleague ordered. I was literally treated like a drunk. I was treated very bad for no reason. I was never treated like this before from anyone. The manager even said to my colleague that is better I dont have anymore drinks tonight and someone should call an uber for me to get home. Really? I wasn't drunk at all, I drink responsibly and I would never reach the point where I get drunk in public. Never. I honestly did not know that waving my hand at the counter can cause so much troubles. I work nearby, so it was handy for my colleagues and I to go there after work. After yesterday night, I will never go back to this pub again and I will make sure to tell my clients or anyone that asks me, to avoid this place...

Shame I can’t give 0 stars.

Came here, wanting a coffee, walked in with 2 of my friends … to which a jobsworth, power tripped employee looked us up and down. The jobsworth sarcastically asked his colleague ā€˜do we have coffee?’ After his muscle flex, he said fine, we can have a coffee, so I went and got my car , parked out front, and went back in, and they started kicking up a fuss about ā€˜ID’ needed for a coffee.

Being a pub on the prestigious Sloane Street, I’d expect a sense of decorum and respect. I was very surprised walking in to find staff with lack of IQ, manners and social decency … wondering what the hiring process is?

Anyway, you run a customer service based business, don’t judge a book by its cover. Yes I may not have been in your standard Oxford shirt and Chelsea boots, doesn’t mean should be treated any differently. Distasteful to say the least. Safe to say your business is failing if you can’t keep up to the minimum of customer service.

Quick tip. Pay peanuts, get monkeys, perhaps up your rates and you’ll get some better candidates.

I’ll be making my platform of 200k+ members well aware of my...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am absolutely thrilled with my experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The customer service was outstanding—prompt, professional, and genuinely caring about ensuring all my needs were met. They went above and beyond, making sure I was not only satisfied but truly happy with the results.

The quality of the product/service was simply exceptional. Every detail was carefully considered, and it’s clear that a lot of thought and effort went into providing something of such high caliber. The craftsmanship (or expertise, depending on the context) is top-notch, far surpassing anything I’ve encountered elsewhere.

I was particularly impressed with how seamless the entire process was. It felt like they truly understood what I was looking for and delivered it flawlessly. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence really stood out. I can’t recommend them highly enough to anyone looking for this level of quality and service. It was an outstanding experience that I would rate even higher than five stars if I could. Thank you for delivering such a...

Came here on a Wednesday afternoon at about 4pm. The restaurant was not busy but not empty either, it was relatively flowing. Right off the bat the bartender was very attentive and helpful and friendly. He poured our drinks and took our food order, and gave me a sample of a beer I wanted to try. I ordered an IPA and a cider for us to share, both were great. I also got a double Jameson on the rocks. He made my grandma a new espresso when hers was not hot enough. We only ordered chips and onion rings which were great! My cider spilt and the bartender poured me a new one and gave me paper towels to clean it up at my request since he didn't see the spill. The ambiance was good and rustic, lots of history in this building. Overall good experience and will come back.

Great experience in London. As a first-time traveller to LON, we managed to visit the pub a couple of times. Every time, great service and fresh beer. Very clean and amazing atmosphere... made us feel we had walked into Great Britains šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ past. Thank you John, you really made us feel welcome even though we struggled with the pub culture in the beginning, your hospitality made us feel comfortable. We recommend to any visitors, to get a touch of the local British experience, as this is a must visit We recommend you try the fish & chips and the beef & raclette pie. You are sure to be welcomed by John outgoing and very helpful character... Thank you John .

I often visit The Gloucester – it's my favourite spot in town for a few pre-drinks and some good food. It’s a charming little pub tucked away on a pretty street in Knightsbridge, with interesting artwork and photos on the walls and a classic, historical pub vibe. I've visited on quiet and busy days - the staff are so professional, friendly and fast even under pressure or when short-staffed! I usually have a meal when I'm there. They have some fantastic vegan and vegetarian options :) I highly recommend the pea & mint soup, pulled mushroom chili, Beyond Meat burger, and the hispi cabbage wedge.
