PLEASE DO NOT EVER PURCHASE YOUR FLOWERS HERE
Please let me give you some background before explaining my atrocious and shocking experience here at this flower shop. All I will say is Iâm suprised itâs still open because of its disgusting customer service.
Im making a mini bouquet just for myself to practice and purchased some flowers and roses from the local supermarket ( im no professional and do not know much) but wanted some gypsophelias and eucalyptus to complement my bouquet, so I popped into this shop and there was a woman standing at the front cashier desk, only person in the shop.
I walked in and not even a hello or smile, so I put my bag down and it was a shopping bag so you can see what is inside, and started looking around the shop, I saw stairs going down so I asked her are there more flowers downstairs she said âno I dont know why you want more than whats hereâ - I already thought it was very rude and she couldâve said it nicely.
Then I took my flowers out of my bag to match what would go with it and she asked me to put them away, no idea why? Not like its going to ruin her disgusting business anyways when its already horrible. So I put them away and continued looking. Whenever I asked her a question, she was so passive aggressive âno this is all we haveâ âno this only comes in a bunchâ no smiling, no offering to help etc
So because I wanted the eucalyptus and another product, I put one down on the cashier desk and she said thats ÂŁ10 , I said im still looking around, so I asked her for a bunch of eucalyptus and she gave me a bunch. I then asked her does she sell anything that can tie the bouquet together and she said string and something else, but she doesnât sell string, then she looked at my bag of roses that I purchased before and said â I donât even want to get into those cheap rosesâ - when my previous purchase was absolutely none of her business.
When leaving I told her, she was extremely rude and she didnât even ask to offer help. She said why should she offer help to people like me (at this point I thought it was a racial thing as I am a Muslim woman) and I told her my previous purchase has nothing to do with her and its her flowers and plants that she is selling and she said âall you bought is some greenery and coming into my shop with those cheap flowers, 35 yearâs experience, why should I offer to help someone like youâ. i was so disgusted and said her flowers may be beautiful but her customer service is not and that she didnât even offer to help, she said she didnât even want to serve me as soon as I entered the shop.
She then proceeded to say that shes tired of being at war with people like me, and thats when I told her it must be a racial thing because Iâm a muslim woman that she doesnât want to service me.
And then she said and Im probably more muslim than you, and told me to get out of her shop. I happily left, knowing I will never ever step foot into this shop again. This is me summarising what had happened hut it was on a much greater scale than this.
Absolutely rude, racist, and tbh, overpriced. I have no idea why people open businesses if they donât know basic customer service. Absolutely atrocious and disgusting. Horrible service, small shop and just...
Read moreA couple of days ago I went to this lovely florist to buy a bouquet for my fiancé birthday. I found myself surrounded by various and outstanding flowers which already made me feel enthusiastic about what I was about to get. The owner, named Lila, has been very quiet and allowed me to watch around peacefully without pressing me about buying anything. When then I asked to been advised for some particular flowers for a special bouquet she didn't hesitate to help me out choosing the most perfect ones she thought my fiance would have loved. It has came out absolutely majestic and my fiancé was so happy about it. The flowers also lasted very long as well ad their fragrances. I would highly recommend as the prices, for being in central London, are also very balanced and honest.
Will surely come back.
Thank you...
Read moreWhat a sad experience. I walked into this shop excited to make my own bouquet. I was quoted ÂŁ40âÂŁ50 for the flowers I wanted based on a picture. However, the moment I mentioned it was for my wedding, I was told the price would go upâwithout any change to the flowers or serviceâsimply because it was a wedding. I was shocked and left feeling deflated.
What should have been a joyful, personal moment turned into a clear attempt to take advantage of the occasion. This kind of pricing exploits the sentiment around weddings, assuming couples will pay more for the same thing simply because itâs âspecial.â Itâs disheartening to see such opportunistic and disingenuous behaviour on what should be an honest, celebratory experience....
