I used to really enjoy visiting Raj Mahal, especially when I first discovered them through Too Good To Go back in May. The first couple of times were fantastic â I received a generous variety of both savoury and sweet items, including delicious baklava, samosas, rolls, and even a massive box of fresh jalebi. It felt like great value and a good way to reduce food waste.
However, my last two visits have been incredibly disappointing. Instead of the variety I once received, I was given just one type of stale savoury item and one unappealing sweet. It felt like they were simply getting rid of whatever they couldn't sell â the leftovers that nobody wants.
To make matters worse, the man serving was extremely rude and dismissive, showing no interest in providing even basic customer service. It's clear that they no longer care about the experience or value they offer through Too Good To Go.
I've learned my lesson and wonât be going back again. Save your time and money â there are much better, more respectful places out there. Stay far away...

Horrible service, I arrived in the shop, one of them was on the phone, the other one very grumpy doing sthg in the back room and when he finally came no Hi, no information when I asked what was in one of the sweet, didnât telâ Me how much it cost neither- poor experience but was really fancying some Indian sweets. Wanted 2 but he didnât have any change strangely so told me to buy another cake. Got an additional one thatâs fine I have a sweet tooth and didnât want for ages in the shop but what a mistake, when I tried the cakes they tasted very old, dry not milky as they should taste, awful. I never write reviews but in that case yes, considering the poor experience and the quality of the food, donât recommend it at all. If someone has a recommendation on where to buy good Indian sweets, please...

However if he would have just said in a polite way âsorry we donât have anything vegan since itâs all fried in the same oilâ I wouldnât have left a bad review at all. But as we like to say âthe sound makes the musicâ and answering with an annoyed ânothing!â is still a reaction I would consider rude, furthermore the tone of the answer to my review itâs still quite rude. Also Iâd like to point out, that I only judged the service and nothing else, so I think it shouldnât matter if I was a paying customer or not.
Original review: Very unfriendly service. I asked politely what in the store would be vegan and he just said nothing! Even though later on some of the signs you can see, that there actually are vegan foods. So very rude and not well...
