Appalling customer service.
Seems the staff at the Westbourne Grove, W2 4UA location care just enough to show up for their job and not a sprinkle more.
The customer service is lacking and often rude. And it is for this reason CFT, youāve lost a customer. Please work on your service!
Iāve been in this store several times because they have cute items but I certainly DO NOT RETURN FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I asked for help, was ignored (this is a step worse than usual as Iām usually met with a grumpy face or someone so put m-off by having to do their job) but today was next level and the last time I will ever return to this store!
Most tills were not working at self check-out (because you would rarely find anyone at the in-person-check out anyway) not a prob, I managed to find one of the 4 that was working.
When I was leaving I took it upon myself to tell the CUSTOMER SALES PERSON - JESSICA - that the tills were not working, met with a grumpy face and some rude muttering for being put out to do her job, and then being treated like I had stolen something, I was asked to ācome over hereā as she proceeded to the tills, I produced my bill (that I had printed for this very reason) at the door, showed her, and walked out (unhappy and annoyed) by Jessicaās rudeness. From the other side of the window, she proceeded to point to her temple and stick her tongue out at me (signing that there might be something mentally wrong with me) from the other side of the window. I walked back in and asked her for her name and told her that each time I come in sheās rude (yes, this same clerk has been rude on other occasions so canāt chalk it up to a bad day on her part). She continued to talk back, I asked for her name again. Told her she is rude each time I come in, asked for her name again. Then I left.
Iām not sure that the staff at Copenhagen Flying Tiger (Westbourne grove) understand that they are in customer service. Or even what that means. Or if they care?
No, the customer is not always right. And I would understand a grumpy face toward a customer who is rude. But I pride myself on being friendly and polite to everyone. I never write reviews like this. But this situation really was just enough.

I found an item I wanted, of which only 2 were on display and I went and asked the group of staff (who were all sat at the tills), if they had any more. One member simply looked up and said no, as she had just put them out. Fair enough I thought, I had perhaps expected a little more help, but took her word at face value. I then found a game that I wanted to purchase on display but it was only the one and unfortunately the box was ripped. At this point I went back to the group of staff at the tills again and asked if they had another one, that was not damaged (who is putting out damaged items on display anyway?!). It was at this point I noticed they were all crowded round one personās iPhone, watching the World Cup. Great. Again, one person looked up and simply replied no to me. Fair enough, zero effort, zero service. I checked out at the self check out tills and left. Honestly at this point why do you even need the staff when they provide literally zero service...

Within a period of 2 months, I have been to the shop over half a dozen times and for the third time I saw an item with wrong price shelf display, and I only realized that at the till, so I complaint to the management. I know that under the Sale of Goods Act, the shop is under no obligation to honour that price, but I wanted to request the staff to double check stock prices against what's being advertised to avoid this sort of situation to customers, and even after I pointed that out, there was no action from the staff to remove the wrong tag.
