They don't know how to do hair rebonding.
My Mum and I went to Galaxy Hair for the hair rebonding (Japanese permanent hair straightening) mid-May 2022 and after I washed my hair 4 days later - as you're not supposed to wash for 3 days - it was not straight when it dried naturally (it was wavy) and it was also frizzy (this was the case for my Mum too). I told Alan and he said we could go again and have this resolved for free. It was decent to offer this although it meant we had to travel back to London for it. So, we went again mid-June 2022 (last Sunday) yet after I wash my hair 4 days later, it is still not straight (it's wavy)!! The pictures I've taken here are from the second time I went for the hair rebonding. My hair here looked exactly the same as it did the first time I had the rebonding at Galaxy Hair. To be honest, my hair looks like what it did prior to having the rebond mid-May 2022.
For my appointment in mid-June, the process took 7 hours because my stylist was cutting other people's hair in the middle of the process. This was really excessive and it was very uncomfortable.
Also, the person who did my rebonding in mid-June said that I should use a hairdryer to make my hair straight because if I dry naturally it is impossible to be straight. This didn't make sense to me. For those of you who don't know, the whole point of rebonding is for you to "wash and go", resulting in your hair being straight after you dry your hair naturally without a hairdryer.
As for my Mum's hair, it's still frizzy and feels rough.
Don't think I'll be visiting here again...
Read moreThe stylist named Patrick is so rude on phone. The customer service is not good. The salon place is too small. Not recommended. Refer to your reply below: Dear Alan, You are not telling the full story. I called to Salon and a lady speaking English picked up the phone. And I asked to confirm today 4pm booking is still available whether the guest called Patrick has come to have haircut in your salon. Your female colleague did not reply then suddenly passed to the line to a stylist named Patrick who speaking Cantonese, I thought this stylist is my friend. Of course, that was a misunderstanding. I immediately made an apology on phone to him and said politely, "I am sorry I make a mistake. the reception lady thinks I am finding you, I am finding a guest called Patrick.
THEN what did your colleague Patrick say, "This is not HONG KONG! We do not have any reception for picking up phone. She is a stylist. We are very busy. Not for picking any calls!". replied loudly and impolitely.
I would like to know whether this attitude of Patrick is good? his manner is good? Although your colleague and shop is busy, then your staff can reply a customer on phone like this bad attitude.
And I said the shop is small which is real comment from my friend. It is a fact. People can love your shop because of your so-called Quality. But you never try to approach me to find out the truth instead of writing an irresponsible comment. It is not good. You are not trying to improve your customer experience. Very...
Read moreI came in here as I had long hair and I wanted the dead ends off. When we entered someone asked if we had a booking and we said no. So they just left us for about 5 minutes till a woman said to come over to wash my hair. It was going alright however I feel she didn’t actually clean it, instead put a dollop of soap on it and then wash it out. When she put the conditioner on, she just left me there for about 10 minutes; however, the massage chair was quite nice so it was ok. She also was having her hair dyed, so someone else helped her wash her hair whilst I was waiting. Everything was fine, till the person washing her hair accidentally squirted shampoo on my face without apologizing. After a few minutes she washed the conditioner off, and sent me to the back of the place as there were no free spots for me to sit. Only after 10 minutes were there someone to cut my hair. They told me that they didn’t know how to cut long hair so I had to wait a little longer. Fast forward to the cutting, I asked for it not to be thinned out as I liked my thick hair and not too short, I wanted a trim. He said ok I will make sure that happens. After finishing off blow drying, he shows the mirror, it was hideous. It was short, thin and everything that I said didn’t want, was there. I almost cried, £55 for that is ridiculous. Don’t go there if you have long hair, maybe if u...
