Bought a rucksack from Hackett’s regent street store approx 18 months ago. Assuming it would be good quality and last a life time, I was initially happy. However, after 3 months the straps and handle started to fray and come away from the bag. 6 months in and the zip stopped staying shut (I.e it would come undone after the zip handle had passed over it). I took it into store but received no help from the staff who said I couldn’t return it since it has been over 6 months since purchase and that it’s my fault for overloading the bag (which wasn’t true since the bag has only ever had my laptop and coat in it). So I kept the bag assuming I could still use it despite its faults but in the past few days one of the straps has completely broken meaning I can’t use it at all. I’m incredibly disappointed that a very expensive bag has lasted less than 2 years through very normal use. I thought Hackett was a synonym for high quality but obviously I’m very mistaken and won’t be buying anything from them again.

I have been a customer of 30 years of Hackett and have many great products. BUT I bought an Aston Martin jacket on January 13th 2022 and after little or no use The AM logo started to peel off (Feb 2023), I spoke to customer support and they asked me to visit the Regents' Street store for review, where I was told it was fair wear and tear, on a jacket that had been worn maybe 20 times and is 50 days out of warranty for a £350rrp jacket. So the quality of Hackett's products seem to be as low as their respect for their customers. So nice shop very poor quality product today, it used to be great but now lasts many a year, the usual things of big brands forgetting their core customers. UPDATE: BTW Hackett have replied to this review a week ago but to date have not been in touch, but probably more for public show.

I am here to share my experience with Hackett Online. I have boight a cap feom them and worn it for my fathers funeral. The cap has lost colour and I requested hackett to fix the issue for me. They offered me 10% off for this instead of refund, half price back or offer me to buy spray diy to fix the issue. What a terrible management. The quality is not good enough if it gets so bad in 3 weeks time

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø A Truly Exceptional Experience at Hackett, Regent Street

From the moment we stepped into Hackett on Regent Street, we were treated to a level of service that was nothing short of exceptional — thanks to three outstanding professionals: Duncan, Martina, and Pedro.

Duncan was the first to assist us, and he set the tone for our entire experience. Impeccably professional, attentive, and warm, Duncan is the very definition of what excellent customer service should be. His product knowledge and effortless manner made the entire process smooth, efficient, and enjoyable. Me and my fiancƩ felt truly looked after from the start.

We later met Martina, who stepped in with such grace and kindness when we ran into an issue with my fiancé’s Loro Piana trousers. She handled the situation with empathy, elegance, and efficiency — a true professional who clearly takes pride in her work and in ensuring customers feel heard and supported.

Finally, we had the pleasure of meeting Pedro, the store manager. Pedro’s calm leadership, genuine care, and remarkable attentiveness turned what could have been a stressful situation into an absolutely phenomenal experience. His ability to resolve the issue while making us feel respected and valued was the perfect ending to an already impressive visit.

The synergy between these three professionals is what makes Hackett on Regent Street so special. Their professionalism, humanity, and dedication to excellence is rare to find — and deeply appreciated.

We left not only with beautifully crafted pieces, but with a strong desire to return — knowing we’ll be in the best possible hands.

Bravo to Duncan, Martina, and Pedro. You are the reason...

I bought a suit at this store. It fitted almost perfectly, except for the trousers pockets that stuck out. They told me they could fix it, it would take no more than 2 weeks, but they have to charge me for the alterations. Three weeks later no news. I get them on the phone -which they pick up occasionally- but they can't find my suit. I come to the store, they look for it for half an hour, then tell me that there is no point in me waiting and that they will call me when they find it. I leave, they call me 10 minutes later: they found it, great. I come back, try it on, and the pockets look exactly the same as before. One salesman tells me maybe they forgot to do the alterations. Another tells me that they may have altered it the wrong way. They decide that something definitely has been done, although they are not sure what. At that point I give up and take the suit as it is. At no point did they offer to refund me for the alterations that may or may not have been done. They did offer to deliver the suit at my place when they thought it was lost, they were always polite and friendly, but the end result is that it took a long time to get a suit that I will have to take to a proper tailor.

My personal feeling about Hackett: a brand with elegant salesmen and fancy decorated store, that manages to pass as an old, luxury, Savile Row style shop... as long as they're just selling their ready-made shirts and ties. Anything else is out of their league, they will fall short of expectations and you will feel like you're buying a suit from Topman at 3...

Dear Hackett Regent Street Store Team,

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received from Salesman Darius during my recent visit to your store. Darius went above and beyond in assisting me with the purchase of a unique t-shirt for my husband.

Not only did he patiently address my concerns about the t-shirt’s price, but he also provided a thorough explanation of its well-being focused fabric innovation. His extensive knowledge about the luxury loungewear and sleepwear collection, particularly the integration of Aloe Vera extract for skin care, truly showcased the unique value of the product.

Darius’ ability to articulate how this t-shirt would not just be a garment but a statement of appreciation and a lasting memory for my husband was impressive. His passion for the product and genuine interest in ensuring customer satisfaction made it impossible for me to resist making the purchase.

I have never encountered a salesperson who possesses such in-depth knowledge about fabrics and the emotional significance behind a garment. Darius has undoubtedly left a lasting positive impression, and I look forward to returning to your store for future purchases.

Please extend my gratitude to Darius for his outstanding assistance. Thank you for providing a truly unique and memorable shopping experience.

Best...
