Kingly Court is a lively three-storey courtyard off Carnaby Street that packs more global flavor into one spot than almost anywhere in central London, with 20+ restaurants and bars circling an open-air space that’s buzzy in summer and covered in winter for all-weather dining. The mix is top-tier and eclectic: from Darjeeling Express’s home-style Indian cooking and Donia’s modern Filipino plates to Shoryu’s ramen, Le Bab’s gourmet kebabs, Dirty Bones’ NYC comfort food, Club Mexicana’s vegan tacos, and cocktails at 1940s-themed Cahoots and speakeasy Disrepute.
What stands out is the consistency—concepts here aren’t just trendy; they deliver on taste and atmosphere, making it easy to graze across cuisines in one visit or come back for focused meals at spots like OKA for sushi and pan‑Asian dishes or Señor Ceviche for bright Peruvian bites. The setting itself adds to the experience: a colorful, festoon‑lit courtyard with plenty of communal seating, balconies on upper levels, and shelter during rain, turning a food crawl into a fun, sociable hangout from lunch through late night.
Practicalities are friendly to diners: multiple entrances from Carnaby, Kingly, and Beak Streets, pedestrianized access, and on-site facilities, with many venues offering options for different diets, including vegan and halal selections at specific restaurants. For anyone craving variety with reliably good taste—whether a quick bowl of ramen, a kebab with finesse, or a sit‑down Indian feast—Kingly Court delivers a concentrated slice of Soho’s dining energy...

First ,The welcoming hosts said they could not find our booking without even apologising. However, a more customer service oriented male waiter advised later when we noticed that our main course was not at the usual warm temperature we were accustomed to , that there was a problem with their software, which we understood and kept our main meal without bothering to request a re heating. Things really got worse when we called another waiter to kindly request that the next drink we were about to order to contain less ice. That same waiter who was one whom we met initially when we arrived, advised in a strong tone ' that's the way the drink is served and we would get less drink ' as if that was relevant to us . I just felt at that point that our night will abruptly come to an end . Because at that point, the level of customer service was fast deteriorating!! Alicia was brilliant though and so was the other male waiter who wore a hairstyle with a bun. We appreciate the supervisor's effort in giving us a good discount. But to think I had two choices to choose from and went with Rum Kitchen. Our customer service experience was below average brought great disappointment we never could...
