Sino Thai offers a fusion of Thai and Chinese cuisine, and very tasty it is too. There's indoor/outdoor seating options, very friendly staff and the wines aren't particularly overpriced for London. But - and it's just a small quibble - the service was actually too quick! Our starters arrived within a few minutes of ordering, and then the mains arrived before we'd finished them. In fact the waiter tried to take my last satay chicken skewer away from me. He failed. That said, the food was delicious - the duck crispy and nicely sticky, the red Thai curry king prawns properly cooked. Unfortunately there's nothing you can order to mop up or dredge the sauce with. Maybe bring a straw. If the waiting staff hadn't been quite so keen to hurry us up (and there was no need since there were plenty of vacant tables and no queue) I would have given them five stars. But we'll go again 🙂

Stayed close to this place. Had a booking at a different place but I was too hungry to wait. So I tried this place for the first time. In November and December I was in Thailand myself for the 10th time already. Live in Thailand before so I probably know how Thai food should be. The waitress was very friendly. Got my food before I got my drink which to me seems like the food is maybe pre-cooked. The Som Tum (Papaya salad) wasn't fresh at least the veggies weren't. It wasn't spicy and for the first time in my life I had to eat it without chopsticks 🥢. For sure I am not Asian but that doesn't mean I am not able to eat Thai food with fork and spoon. Food was ok, beer was tasty (loved the Singha from tap)

Had to leave most of the food as it wasn’t particularly palatable! Although the place looked full appearances can be deceptive and the food as well as service were really poor. The salt tofu were more batter than tofu and tasted that way also. The prawn pad Thai tasted old and the sauce was like something you get out of a pot noodle packet. Hence left most of that. If you sit outside you will have to fend your food off from the flies and inside is basically like an oven. Service was poor also and you had to track someone down to get any drinks order or get the bill etc. Would not go there again nor recommend to anyone.

This was difficult place to review, it's not quite 5 stars, not fully 4 stars either. The service is great, the 3 wait staff were pleasant and friendly and full of smiles. The waitress forgot I ordered water but all I did was ask again, no big deal. The starters: we went for the 2 people sharing platter, this from the whole meal was a disappointment and I guess this lost a star, just was not really worthwhile for the price, 2 of each main starter, prawn toast, mini spring roll, spare ribs, satay sticks and finally 2 wings, this really was a non-event and so not worth that price. The mains: 2 x different chicken dishes with egg fried rice, they were pretty decent and made up for the poor starter, the chicken with garlic and peppers was the star of the selection and we both wished we ordered another. We did not bother with dessert as it was all milk based and they did not do sorbet separately which is a shame and did not feel there was much option apart from tinned lychee which for that price I could buy a tin and get more. Overall, 4 stars due to the overall service but loses a star for thr starter. Note: the toilet area seems to be going through some refurbishment which although no big issue,...

Do not come here if anyone in your group is GF or has any allergy or intolerance. Loads on the menu marked GF. Double checked with the waiter when ordering that my food was GF. I ordered the aromatic fish curry. When the fish arrived it turned out to be fried ( I assumed at the time that it was coated in cornflour or some other GF crust- big mistake). With hindsight pretty sure it was just very fine breadcrumbs and/or flour. I was very ill after, really sucked. 🥲

Afterwards I also realised that the other allergens listed were also totally wrong. Like my dish had peanuts sprinkled on top despite not having the nut or peanut symbol next to it on the menu (which they had put next to some other menu items). Nuts aren’t a problem for me, but could obviously be very serious if you have a nut allergy etc.

Don’t believe the allergens marked in the menu- they are not consistent with the food that comes out.

Don’t believe the staff -they clearly just tell you what you...

From the outside it looks basically quite pleasant, the menu looks quite diverse and the prices are very reasonable. However it's only when you sit down you realise something is slightly 'off'. It's difficult to put your finger on it initially, but slowly the little things start adding up. Is it Heart FM pumping out across the restaurant? Is it sellotape holding some of the chairs together? Is it the waiter wearing jeans and a t-shirt beneath his gold embroidered shirt? Whatever it is, it could have been a Chinese or Indian restaurant and you'd only be able to tell which it was by reading the menu. The food is good though. Reasonable portions and piping hot. But not really the Fragrant Thai experience I've enjoyed at other similar restaurants. Overall, the exterior was let down by a less than convincing interior atmosphere, which made the dining experience a...
