I sent an email to express my gratitude with 2 members of your staff. I came again today because of these two ladies Hasin and Abi.
I wanted to ensure that they received and read this review. They are both an asset to your establishment and I hope they continue to glow. What an beautiful end to a miserable day!!
Thank you Hasin and Abi from Marks and Spencer on Tottenham Court Road. I hastily ran into Marks and Spencer this afternoon to buy a birthday gift for a work colleague. I saw this young, very, very smart young lady , who instantaneously was so attentive and genuine in assisting me to choose a cake, chocolates and a gift bag. Her persona and caring attitude in showing me the choices but not in a hasty or uncaring manner is something that you cannot teach. Thank you Hasin. A job well done .
Then I went to the checkout and as always you have Abi, with that amazing smile, calmness and confident manner, even when you are stress, she has that conversation that will give you that positve mood for the day. I go there every morning and its because I know that 9/10 times , she will be there obviously loving what she does.
These two ladies are an asset to the company and I know that because of their service _ I will continue to shop at this branch.
Ladies you both are stars and deserve a 10, no 20/10 and I mean that with all sincerity..
Best Wishes

I was then told to wait while he spoke to another assistant.
I waited patiently and was eventually approached and quizzed again by the second assistant and was asked in a patronising way, 'What's wrong with it, you bought it in a different store'.
I was then asked to wait again and gave up waiting so did my food shopping.
Even after this I was kept waiting again and was eventually told that by the first assistant that 'all the managers are on their break downstairs so I had to go down and get one of them'.
One of the managers eventually appeared and I was quizzed yet again.
I was taken to a till and was kept waiting far too long for a simple refund, I decided to browse the newspapers while the manager seemed to writing a Victorian novel on his till. I have no proof of it but it felt like I was kept waiting deliberately.
It seems that if you want to take a jumper back to Marks and Spencer you get a refund no questions asked.
If you want to return a bread and butter pudding that is unsafe to eat, be prepared to kept waiting for a very long time, for a battle with a team of assistants and to be treated...
