Went in there today with my autistic son who loves this place and was 1 guy being served and the staff guy was making him a coffee so we waited as was raining when I walked in. My kid was choosing his ice cream and we waited patiently for the guy to finish making the coffee and then 4 people walked in ahead of us and ordered through the "now I know compulsory!!!" Tabket ordered system even though everything I've been there for the last 10 times they have just accepted vocal ordering and tap payment through my phone! What was extremely rude was that he never even bothered to tell me to order prior to the people walking in and im a i was a regular client due to my kids autism but wasnt prepared to wait for the the others orders to be done ahead of mine as is raining and terrible weather so want to be done and get on with my day off! I have a business myself and dealing with that for 30 years and doing fine because I understand how to treat people especially with children and if you are in the ice cream business this is a key factor! Never shall I go there again and I hope many with children follow suit to this! Do not reply to this owner of the business as I know how you style your responses with generic garbage about caring how my experience was and how you ain to rectify it. Just know you have upset a very autistic child with your lack in ability to hire competent staff on a not very busy day....

I was with my 6 years old son and wanted to ask the attendant some questions about the flavours however the guy was completely alone in the store and busy/running like a chicken. Showing signs of stress as clearly under pressure which I don't blame him. But the company/Managements. My mistake was that I paid in the machine without realising that I would wait for +20 MINUTES OR I WOULD ASK FOR THE MONEY BACK AND LEAVE THE STORE!!! In additional to serve the customers in the store, the poor guy was interrupted by Just eat or Deliveroo to pick up online orders!!! As the guy has to do all this "flower" stylish ice cream it took FOREVER!!!! The waiting was soooo long and sooooo annoying that when come to my turn I just told him: PLEASE NO FLOWER PETAL JUST THE SCOOP!!!! I was just dying to get out the store as quick as possible. Really how can a company have only ONE attendant in a busy branch as GOODGESTREET!!!??? Come on hire more staff!!!! I wish i could ask for.my money back for the bad service/long waiting. Read moreI spent at least 20 min queuing because each cone ice-cream is made like a flower with ice cream petal, and you can choose how many flavour you like(even more slow the service if someone choose many flavour ). I'm diabetic and I went to take an ice-cream to rise my blood sugar because I was having an hypoglycemic attack, thinking that the service was fast. When was my turn I let the girl know that I wasn't interested on the flower shape because I just need something quick for my low blood sugar. She said that she couldn't do anything about because that is the business signature of the shop and are controlled by the owner, so ice cream flower is mandatory for each customer.
