While the Mrs was in A&E did the noble thing and toured surrounding pubs for a Guinness, check out surrounding bars for similar reviews.
Now this was quite a unique experience. Arrive at the bar and ordered a Guinness from the lady behind the bar. Then gent behind the bar took control of the order and poured the Guinness in one and it was clear it had the wrong nozzle on.
I questioned the nozzle and they appeared confused so I then asked if a product had been particularly fobby, was the Peroni, so I asked them to take the nozzle and check. Hey presto that's where the nozzle was.
The guy then unscrewed and put them on the correct ones. Would have appreciated washing his hands and then the nozzle.
He then started to pour a Guinness with the correct amstel covered nozzle and the beer ran out and neither knew how to change it. I offered but understandably didn't want me back of house which is the right answer.
He then looked scared and asked the lady to call the manager who apparently was "asleep". The lady then said she didn't want to so it was left back with the guy who got his phone out.
I then said not to bother and left.
Overall, the site is in need of some product, cellar and customer service training. Can't imagine either have completed the relevant courses to be able to serve and operate the business without supervision of a manager on duty.....

Next thing member of staff came over to table to say no burgers for at least half an hour. We then asked what they had and ordered 2 Hunters chicken which we received. We both enjoyed it but it was not perfect The chicken was supposed to be wrapped in streaky bacon but was just put on the top and it was flooded with BBQ sauce. I thought their was something missing so I looked it up on my phone and sure and behold there was grated cheese. I went back to the bar on our way out and spoke to the lady behind the bar and said that the Hunters Chicken should have grated cheese on it and her reply was that the chef was new. I think if he was a chef he should know how to cook Hunters Chicken. If not he could look it...
