Get place in Central London to hang out especially at lunchtime. Just off Oxford St before you reach TCR tube station on the right coming from Oxford Circus.
There were many more benches but the council seem to have removed many of them, though thereās grass to sit on and a few shaded areas.
Has a unique landmark inside (a Tudor style building thatās actually not what it seems) and a statue of one of the Stuart Charlesā.
Tesco nearby (west gate) as is the tube, has a public urinal near the north gate.
Has two public table tennis tables (bring your own equipment), a nearby Catholic Church worth a visit (St Patrickās) and Soho on your doorstep. I recommend the Toucan pub for a pint and Pierre Victoire for a cheap but delicious lunch (both off west gate) near alternative TCR tube station entrance/exit and Tesco. There is also an excellent Hari Krishna veggie restaurant (north gate) which is cheap just before Zara coming from the Square.
There are MANY characters who are regulars to the square, some very eccentric and quite a few who are homeless, during lunch time itās mainly students from St Martins College or...

There lots if beggars and "odd" people lingering around the area, it doesn't give you that much sense of safety The atmosphere in the park is lively, if you go with some other people, you may end up enjoying it more. Use public transport as parking is excessively expensive and very difficult to find, it is also inside the Congestion Charge area. The park is within walking distance from Oxford Circus underground station and Tottenham Court Road underground station, the ate several buses running on the Oxford Street as well. It is a family and mascot friendly place The is a public urinal just outside the park, but nothing else. There is step free access to the park. The area has some nice features such as Saint Patrick's Church right in the corner...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSoho Square Garden is a charming little oasis tucked away in the bustling heart of central London. Itās the perfect spot to take a break, eat lunch, or just watch the world go by. The atmosphere is lively, especially during lunchtime when locals and tourists alike gather to enjoy the greenery.
The garden is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of benches and open space for relaxing. The iconic timber-framed hut in the center adds a unique historic touch, and the surrounding buildings give it a cozy, enclosed vibe.
However, it can get quite crowded during peak hours, and finding a quiet spot might be tricky. Also, while the garden is beautiful, itās quite small ā more of a peaceful corner than a full park experience.
Overall, itās a great place for a short escape from the cityās chaos. Definitely worth a visit if youāre in...
