The food is horrendous, the management are horrendous. I ordered a pistachio & rose milk cake - I was served a plain cake with cream on top and sweetened milk. It was disgusting. I queried that I had ordered the pistachio & rose cake & didn’t receive this. They pointed to the TINY CORNER WHERE THERE WAS A CRUMB of pistachio and told me this was pistachio.. I asked for the proper pistachio milk and they said this is how they have served this for over three years. I spoke to the manager and he was the most unserious person. He literally did nothing but tell me that’s how they serve their ‘milk cake with pistachio’ I even pointed out that there was a mere crumb of pistachio and no rose on the cake and he said ‘yes this is what it is’ I was like ‘but look at it’ and he literally confirmed that the pistachio was the correct amount. Honestly this is such a waste of money with no service whatsoever. The milk isn’t even the proper milk cake milk!! It’s sweetened milk!! Please avoid this for milk cake and desserts in general!! Extremely disappointing encounter. Never encountered such blatant disrespect. Upon entering, the waiter inquired about our party size. I clearly stated three, yet he promptly diverted his attention to another person, perhaps presuming they were part of our group. Subsequently, the cashier publicly reprimanded me for supposedly disregarding the waiter and failing to await seating instructions. The manner in which he raised his voice left me utterly taken aback. In an attempt to defuse the situation, the waiter attributed the confusion to the establishment's peak hours, emphasising the need to seat us promptly. Despite plenty of seating availability and a relatively calm atmosphere, we were directed to a rear table. Typically, establishments prefer to seat customers near the front to create an illusion of occupancy. Disappointed by the deplorable service, I departed without placing an order. Bit the bullet and went here with my partner despite all the negative reviews I read (which were very alarming. Hope management rectifies past mistakes!) and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great. We were attended to as soon as we entered. The place was very clean. No sticky tables and floors like you would find in Creams in Ealing.

I gave it 4 ratings instead of 5 because it felt like we waited a little too long for our order, considering we were the only ones there alongside another family(who had already been served) at the time we ordered.

We got the ‘monkey business’ crepes. The overall flavour was good, but the toffee tasted quite… I don’t know, fruity? Not the toffee flavour I was anticipating. I would not call what we ate “crepes”, simply because crepes are made of a thin batter. What we ate were more like large pancakes— they were much thicker.
