I reside locally and normally pop in for a coffee after doing my food shop. I am very supportive of local businesses and would rather go here than a Costa.

Today, I walked in and requested kindly to use the toilet. I was then told that I couldn’t unless I purchased something. I am in shock because I have NEVER experienced this from a well known business let alone a locally run coffee shop. I would expect this treatment from bigger establishments.

I then explained I would purchase something but if I could very quickly use the toilet first. The owner, absolutely disrespectful and his employee were disgustingly rude and unprofessional. They lacked basic mannerisms in understanding me. I was absolutely bursting for the toilet as I have a weak bladder and was humiliated further when the woman started shouting at me. They made me feel like I was begging to use the toilet which is a basic need which they clearly lacked compassion to understand.

I am disgusted and I hope everyone sees that while this business is happy to take money, they lack basic empath and feelings for a woman who was in dire need of the toilet despite being told I would purchase something. I am not a new customer and have always happily popped in BUT the service received today, I have never been treated like this by a business owner. I am a loyal customer but on this occasion they have lost me. Not that it matters BUT WARNING, DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE OWNERS unless you’re happily paying them, they do not care. What a wonderful addition to West Ealing Broadway . At last a good quality coffee shop that is also an excellent bakery, the owner and family are extremely friendly all of which have a very good attitude to SERVICE and their customers. Their cakes are hand made by the owner and they have a very good choice of Mediterranean And particularly Greek specialities both sweet and savoury, which I have tried almost all of over the last couple of months they’ve been open. I very much appreciate the warm greeting when you step inside and the knowledgeable staff explaining all of what Is on offer. Also, the café bakery is extremely clean and looks bright and fresh.
