I popped to Namushka spontaneously one lunchtime. I had been intending to go to DvF for some new work clothes but hadn’t realised the #Mayfair store had closed. So, being curious, I thought I would take a peek into a new clothes store a few doors down. To say my heart leapt and sung in a “kid in a candy store” kind of way was an understatement. I am a huge fan anyway of interior design, but this (the thoughtful interior) is what set this clothes store apart. The attention to detail of design was exquisite. I felt like I was peeking into someone else’s house and was on a journey to a different life.
The lady in the store was so incredibly friendly and was telling me all about the brand - #Hungarian and clothes trending towards #Bohemian. I loved just about every piece I picked up and so am looking forward to going back when I am not in a such a rush. It felt as though I had found somewhere magical and new. A feeling I had never felt in a clothes shop before.
What made my visit was the lady working in the shop who was genuinely so happy I loved the store. I so wish I had her name - she made my experience even more wonderful than it already was!
The teeny cafe at the back looks cute too and so looking forward to trying a flat white there...
Read morestaff are pretentious and rude. I think they treat their PAYING customers with such disrespect as if they’re of a higher class and customers aren’t worthy of any respect. Went in for a coffee with a black girl friend of mine, we had a drink and then gave our drinks back in and said thank you. As soon as we went to look in another room we were approached and told that no photos were allowed, even though we were looking at the clothes and didn’t even have our phones out to take a picture. We were then followed around the store by the same member of staff. The cafe staff gave us dirty looks and were staring at us when we went to sit in the outdoors seating area. Overall a rubbish experience, not sure if us being POC had any influence on the way we were followed and treated but...
Read moreDisappointed at the service and treatment from staff here. Staff were unwelcoming and dismissive and act like they are above you. Me and my friend came and bought a coffee and the woman who served us was extremely rude and didn’t talk to us at all, instead she was on her phone ignoring us and would talk to her colleagues instead. What kind of customer service is this? We were given dirty looks the whole time we were there. I regret even buying a coffee here because this establishment doesn’t deserve my hard earned money! Wanted to take pictures and was rudely told that this was not allowed even though SO many people have taken pictures here before - it’s all over social media. Do not waste your time coming here! BTW I’m black and felt that this was racially motivated. DO...
