This cafe is a real gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuinely friendly service, which always makes a difference. And the coffee? Spot on. My cappuccino was clearly made with care - the foam was lovely and fine, and you could tell they'd used a really good espresso as the base. It was just what I needed. We had a BLT sandwich and a croissant. The BLT was a touch pricey, but it was made fresh to order, which you could definitely appreciate. The bacon was cooked to perfection – nice and crispy, just how I like it. You'd think getting bacon right would be basic stuff, but you'd be surprised how many places get it wrong! So, they definitely get a thumbs up for that. The croissant was delicious as well. While the prices might be a bit higher than your average cafe, the quality and service really justify it. Overall, a fantastic experience and I’d definitely recommend giving it a go

I would have liked to have been able to leave 4.5 stars. Coffee tastes really good, but not the best. I ordered a flat white with Oatly Barista which is my usual but never had one made so lacking in creaminess before. It was completely watery in texture. The barista did mention that the other brand of oat milk they use (which I’d never seen before) is easier to work with so maybe he just needs a little more practice with the Oatly. That being said I’d come here again. The shop has a chilled vibe, and the baristas are friendly and helpful. My colleague had a toasted sandwich and said it was a 7/10. A good experience overall.

Been to Cricks Corner with my partner the other day and honestly it’s such a gem. Tried one of their original baps which was spot on, then had a filter coffee & iced oat flat white – all of them were top notch. Properly good coffee, chilled vibes and easily the best spot in Archway for breakfast or a quick bite. Definitely coming back.

Go for the breakfast Bap. They’ll always make the bacon crisp for your order when requested which is a big plus. The egg on the bap is always delicious and runny. The staff are always very lovely and the service is quite quick with everything they make to order.

You can also find fresh pastries, loaves of bread and coffee beans but we really do come here for the delicious breakfast sarnie.

It’s a small location so we generally don’t stay but there tends to always be room on the picnic benches outside, the back room inside. So if you want to stay you won’t have an issue getting a seat somewhere.

They do have a loo but it is small (and up a couple stairs) so it is not accessible for most with mobility...

First time sat down for a coffee and a smoked salmon bagel. The bagel was great, service was lukewarm.

Went back a second time - this time I had my baby in the pram. It was a bit difficult getting through the door with the two steps on the way, but I managed. The staff had their backs against the door and they didn’t notice me coming in, so it’s fair enough they didn’t offer to help holding the door open. On my way out however, after I had bought an expensive but mediocre sandwich to go, both women just stood there and didn’t bother to help me, even though I was clearly struggling! I’ve never experienced such apathy with any other business, let alone one that has such a high...
