A different and delicious alternative to the traditional kebab, chicken, pizza, Chinese and Indian fare is this most enjoyable ‘Spud’ delicacy. I popped into this little café and tried their jacket potato with cheese and curry – absolutely delicious! The potato was perfectly cooked, fluffy inside with a crisp skin, topped with fresh, melty cheese and a curry that was full of flavour without being too heavy. It tasted homemade, fresh, and really satisfying. Highly recommend! We popped in for a takeaway after my son’s football and the owners greeted us with open arms even though it was near closing time. The portions are excellent - the chilli spud filled up my teenage son which is no mean feat! The food is delicious - this is comfort food done right. We’ll be back to eat in next time as the cafe is lovely...
