I was persuaded by RCT ticket office to opt for gift aid donation, with the knowledge that I would get 1-year pass to Windsor Castle. But RCT staff never told me I need to get the ticket stamped on the day of visit for 1-year pass to be valid. I only discovered this fine print after coming home and looked it up online. Looks like RCT uses deceptive marketing practice in order to take advantage of gift aid, but in practice makes it as difficult as possible for visitors to claim 1-year pass. Shame on you RCT. Strongly advise only visit this place if your a super fan or a major supporter of the Monarchy. And don’t bring a backpack as they make you carry it in your hand. They don’t provide lockers. There are no toilets till the end of the tour. The audio sets are complicated to use and you get more information off google. And staff really are not helpful nor accommodating for tourists and international visitors. This has been a total waste of our holiday time. Save your money visit...
