I have decided to write this review after my wife was not happy with her hair and I had the pleasure of speaking with the manager Marco on the phone.
My wife went into the salon and had a balayage and haircut, she was initially not happy with the balayage and her haircut as she felt like she did not get what she asked for, decided to give it a go as she might grow to like it. She decided a few weeks later she was still not happy with it and was told by close friends the hair did not suit her. She then wrote an email 4 weeks later to the salon explaining that she was not happy with the length her hair was cut and the balayage and she decided to dye her hair black.
The manager Marco phoned her and spoke to her in a very condescending manner, asking her why she waited so long to email and after making her feel bad told her it was her choice to colour it and thereâs nothing he could do.
I could see that my wife was getting physically upset with the way he was speaking so I decided to speak on her behalf and the manager was very rude and sarcastic and reiterated the same point about the time it took to send the email and did not come up with any solutions and simply stated youâve made your decision by colouring your hair black.
I have never written a review before, but I just think the manger has no customer service or people skills. I asked him what the point of his phone call was if he knew before phoning there was nothing he could do and he stuttered and couldnât give me a straight answer. He was very sarcastic saying things like âcome and beat me upâ and âI will go and hide after thisâ and he could sense I was becoming increasingly frustrated being on the phone but despite this he seemed to find the situation funny as he kept laughing. I donât understand why he called and the only thing he did was upset his customer and make her feel bad about expressing her thoughts. He also implied at one point that she had come in with the intention of not liking the haircut despite her going there numerous times.
I understand itâs not always possible to receive a refund/partial refund and Iâm not hungry for the money, but I do understand that companies sometimes like to keep their customers happy and will show appreciation. If there was nothing that could be done a simple email explaining this would suffice and she would have understood but to call and make someone feel bad for writing the email, in my opinion someone else should be handling the customer complaints side of things.
I think itâs safe to say that she will not be visiting the salon again and I would not recommend going here unless youâre sure you will like the haircut and stay quiet...

While I visited the salon to treat myself, I left feeling disrespected and humiliated. The stylist was extremely rude. She snapped at me every time I asked a question and got extremely angry at me when I mentioned that my hair looked a bit messy.
To make things worse, I was charged extra 10 pounds for having âlong and thick hairâ, which seemed a bit unjustified to me and was never the case in other salons. Nevertheless, I donât mind paying more at all especially if a person is being nice in explaining the policy to me. But when I inquired on the extra charge she full on snapped at me!!
While my hair turned out okay in the end, the way I was treated overshadowed the outcome. As consumers, we expect to be treated with kindness and respect, especially when we pay for a service. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me at this salon. I would caution others to consider their options before choosing to visit this...

I came to get very subtle highlights to give my usually very dark hair some more dimension. Amir did a terrible balayage (brutally orange/brass colour) and charged me ÂŁ400 for that. I went to a different hairdresser to fix my hair and the person said that "whoever did my hair, had no clue what they were doing and were very inexperienced". I asked Why Not Hairdressing for a refund and Marco, the owner never honoured this. I feel absolutely taken advantage of. Not caring about the poor customer experience provided and the damages caused, while ripping people off is not ok. I can see that there are good reviews here, which I wish I never trusted. I cannot imagine who gives this place a genuine 5* review?!?!?They don't even bother to do the minimum, such as to offer water to their customers.
