Palewell Common Golf Course — Local services in London

Appalling, on 2 counts:

I turned up at 2 pm today (Friday 16 March 2018) to find the course shut, despite the fact that the course's website said it would be open until 7 pm.

I subsequently found out that in future the course would only be open at weekends. This is a terrible waste of a cherished public resource which should be available to the public on week days as well as at weekends.

I also noticed that the course was not in very good condition.

I will be taking up this matter with Richmond Council.

This little gem is tucked away so quietly that most wouldn't know it's there.

Polite staff at entrance and a lovely little Pitch n Putt for beginners and those wanting to keep their wedge game tight.
