Wicker Kebabish — Local services in Sheffield

It's been a while since I took the family out to kebabish at wicker the food and service has always been excellent when we've been here but on this occasion when we went it was terrible. To start with we ordered the chicken meal which came cold with raw onions. We ordered two masala fishes  one with Naan and another with chips. The kids got 4 pieces of fish nuggets each and were not happy as it was tough and dry and my youngest commented that McDonald's fillet of fish is so much better than this. Reluctantly he ate it. The lamb was cooked well and was delicious. I asked for a jug of lassi as specified on the menu. The waitress came back with a bottle of lassi. The least she could've done is put it into a jug with some ice cubes. It's not rocket science.   My wife asked the waitress to get us some water. Their kitchen is situated near the toilet area the waitress came back with jug of water and my wife jokingly said to her I hope you've not filled that up from the toilet tap. She even said to her am kidding. When I went to settle my bill the first thing the guy left in charge said "the water was ok though That wasn't very nice what you said to the waitress about getting water from the toilet" when he clearly knew it was said in jest. He had the audacity to charge  us 58 quid!! for 15quids worth of food I could've made better...

Today is my daughter's birthday and we decided to have some curry for a treat tonight as we're having her party tomorrow and I didn't want to cook today as well as tomorrow. We ordered lamb, chicken curry and chicken korma. I took the longest to get to the table and my husband had already shared the food for all of us.

By the time I got down the kids were already eating. My daughter who turned 6 today had already finished her meat as she loves the korma. I must have had about two forks full of the other curries and decided I wanted some korma as I myself like the sweetness of it. My son sitting across from me had just poured the sauce on his plate as well and we both had some at the same time. A smell was coming from my plate while I tried to figure out what the taste was as it didn't taste like Korma we normally have, it had a spoilt taste. My son just in time spat his out on the plate.

I had to tell the kids to stop eating at once. We called up and explained what happened and though they were helpful and sent out a bit of what was on the plate when it arrived though not as stinky, the Korma had a sour off smell to it. We have decided not to eat any of what they sent and we will no longer be buying from the Kebabish. I just really hope none of us gets ill from this as my daughters are already saying they're not...

Went in today with my mums friends. Ordered our food and at the end found a piece of hair in my rice told the waiter that there’s a hair and all she said was ooohhh and took the plates and went off we were all shocked by the service and she was rude, spoke to her again and she said I should speak to the manager I wasn’t happy with the waiter went downstairs to speak to the manager and he wasn’t happy having a go at me saying what do u want me to do u should’ve spoke to us, told him I spoke to the waiter and she walked off he went and had a go at her, and also my mum founded hair in her food🤢🤢. But other then that the food was amazing, missed the old restaurant and the owner, food size wasn’t like before...
