Panicos Marple — Local services in Stockport

Went to panaco’s for the 1st time tonight, as our 1st choice and 2nd choice were closed today due to it being after 2030.

When I ordered I asked for fish and chips twice. Then after 14 minutes he gave me one portion. He then explained he misheard and said he will do another one. I asked (quite rightly) can he cook 2 fresh as the one already cook will keep cooking in the hot holding cabinet. He said he did and then said I’ll pay for the other one I hadn’t paid for.

Then another member staff intervened and said I hadn’t paid for 2 so he’s only done one. He said this with abruptness.

After the second batch was ready, I noticed only one was cooked, and they took the older one out of the hot holding cabinet. It was obvious as well as they marked it with a note. You wouldn’t do that if it was fresh.

The fresh one was of good quality but the older one, was overcooked and dry (as it’s been in the hot holding cabinet).

Wouldn’t return here even if my 2 regulars are closed. Just...

Food is really tasty especially the kebabs, but the service is shocking! Either the person taking the orders is making mistakes or the person cooking is! We've ordered 4 weeks in a row, week 1 all was well, week 2 made the same order with the addition of hot sauce on 2 of the kebabs and no tomato on any kebabs all kebabs came with the sauce on and tomato which spoilt our meal! Week 3 we ordered similar food again but this time we received an extra kebab which we were charged for (we wanted 4 got 5) this time it seemed like the food had been under the heat lamps for a long time, we were told 1 hour wait which was fine and we collected 1 hour later. The salad on the kebabs had turned brown and quite sloppy, spoilt food again! Week 4 we thought we would try again and again the order was wrong 2 of the kebabs should have had donner meat which we paid for and no donner meat!! Last thing the prices on the Facebook page aren't right last...

I’ve been a loyal customer at this wonderful place for over 4 years, and it never fails to impress me! The food here is absolutely incredible, especially the lamb kebabs. They are always cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The dishes are consistently delicious, with a great balance of spices and freshness.
