1st ever time ordering from here, after receiving lots of positive recommendations on how nice the food is! Yes, I know it was New Years Eve before the critics come out of their cardboard boxes.... I placed my order at 1850, I was told delivery would be 50 minutes... Eventually turned up at 2140hrs!!! After, of course, chasing it up an hour prior to delivery... And it arrived cold.... Took around 30 attempts in calling before someone finally answered the phone, I was told that a replacement order would be with me within 20-30mins. This finally arrived around another hour later at around 2245 (on my Ring Doorbell!). Took almost 4 hours from the original order to get some decent food.

Customer service, I.e. Answering the phones, needs to be seriously improved, and felt like I was constantly ignored, which made me more frustrated with yourselves, after all the positive things I'd heard and read about you. Need to provide better timings.... Rather be told a longer wait and it arrives sooner, instead of being told less than an hour and then taking almost 3hrs for the 1st attempt.

Will I order from you again??? I'm not sure! Yes, the food was eventually amazing, and yes, the best Indian I've had in a long time... However, the long delivery wait and not answering the phone's really has put me off!

I've been absolutely and completely honest about my 1st experience with Bayleaf... Should I return and the service has improved and the food is still as awesome, then I'll change my review and scores to...

I ordered food on Friday night 10:20 Then I received the phone call stating that they will be delivering my food on Saturday because shop is closed.but if was the case why you except the order ??if the shop closed This is the second time happening .i wait till Saturday evening till 8 no communication or phone call not even the apology for taking my money and tell me I get my food tomorrow what type of business this is .even when I went to the shop no apology.just rud . I’m sure if anyone contacted them and ask them for food and payment tomorrow they even hang up the phone like what they did to me last night even tho I paid £57 to have Friday night takeaway.disgusting Even they charging for delivery and soon as he left shop portending he can’t find the address to you go downstairs to not he come to your door as you paying for the service. No one even believes when I tell them the story of the dodgy bayleaf takeaway shop. Stay away from this people...

Have previously enjoyed two delicious takeaways from here. But last night was a complete disaster! From the start it all went wrong as they initially forgot to deduct the 15 percent discount , wanting the full amount. Admittedly this quickly got sorted after speaking to the manager.. I ordered the Naga mixed grill as love a spicy curry along with a couple of puri as part of our order. When it arrived all was very cold , needing heating up. Sadly my mixed grill was not the Naga option but the standard tandoori type. Not what I ordered. Also the puri where soggy under cooked and simply nasty. In the bin! Not good enough which is a shame as I'd finally thought I had a go to...
