Honestly the worst customer service I have ever recieved! Initially ordered via Uber eats and after waiting an hour and 15 mins we called the resturant to ask for an update (had to call 3 times before getting an answer) to be told our order was on its way. When it did arrive we recieved somebody else's order. Who had been waiting a similar amount of time as us, judging by the recipet. We then called the restaurant back and explained the situation, the guy we spoke to was apologetic and said he would remake our food and have it with us in 30 mins. Another hour later we call the resturant back (again, took multiple calls to get through) and requested an update, however, no one seemed to have any idea of the situation and we had to explain multiple times before being asked if we were sure we'd spoken to someone as the chef had no clue about our order. He then said that all Uber eats orders take at least 50 minutes and I had to explain again that at this point we'd been waiting over 2.5hrs for our food. At this point he became quite rude and said he would recook the order and deliver it within 15 mins. Our food finally arrived after over 3 hours, with no apology at all. Grateful to have so many other fantastic Indian resturants in the area as we definitely will not be using Margate Indian...
Read moreAbsolutely, gut wrenchingly horrible! I could get a better curry at Morrison for £3. I ordered Chef's Special Curry with lamb; it was a souppy mess. The sauce tasted like it came from a jar on the 'Saver's' shelf (overly sweet, underseasoned, no authentic flavours developed). It seems like the chef slopped in some cheap curry powder, a few slices of green pepper, some carrot (?), and handful of undercooked onions with some lamb pieces swimming in the mess. No authentic flavours, just some heat and overwhelming sweetness. I lived in London for years and ate hundreds of curries in better and worse Indian/ Pakistani restaurants. I can honestly say this was the worst curry I have eaten so far (and hope to never have one like...
Read moreConsistently fabulous food! This tucked away Indian takeaway restaurant isn't the prettiest shop in town, but please don't judge a book by its cover. The food we've had here is always delicious. We feed a family of four, for which I'd like to recommend the meal for two including the lamb jalfrezi and the chicken madras. On top of this we add a mixed Starter and two more papadams, this easily feeds two adults and two teenage kids a large meal for around £10 a head, delivered. Something for everyone on the menu here. Friendly staff, though we usually have delivery and quickly too. One further tip call the restaurant directly or use their website...
