I had a same day trifold brochure printed for a non-profit organization. When I arrived the brochure that was supposed to be plum had printed in black, was off center and didn't match the proof I printed prior to making my order. Julia and the manager graciously agreed to allow me to recreate the document in a lighter color due to the printer miscalibration. When I returned the next day, we encountered the same issue with color. Thankfully, Addison came to my rescue. She quickly recreated my document, cooled down the colors and used their xerox printer instead so the document would print properly using the store's equipment. Despite continued printer issues and content errors resulting from the recreated document. Addison never got frustrated or lost confidence in her ability to produce a quality document. She went above and beyond to respond to the issues, she was super proactive, outgoing, positive and helpful. I'm so thankful that she was willing to listen, didn't get frustrated, took ownership and walked beside me to get this important piece of marketing material to the finish line. It's so frustrating when things don't go as planned, especially when volunteering for an important community cause and it's heartwarming to experience people like Addison. We need more leaders like Addison...
Read moreI understand that Amazon returns are probably the worst thing to do. I don’t want to return them to the store any more than you want to process it (but I’m not paying $7 in shipping to mail it myself). I’m in line to do an Amazon return with 3 people in front of me. The person at the front isn’t doing a return, but is paying to ship something via UPS. The associate gets everything set and tells him he needs to go to the register. She then walks away from the growing line of people, checks a printer, walks over to a closed register and calls the gentleman who needs to pay his postage over. Okay, I can deal with this. It would have been good customer service to tell us you were going to check him out and be right back, but whatever. Only, she doesn’t come back. She goes to work on a laminating project. Avoids eye contact with us and does her own thing. Eventually, the person in line behind says loudly, “is everyone in line for Amazon returns?” Me and the woman in front of her nod our head. In response, the very nice young man who had previously been running the register leaves the checkout and comes to help us. He was great. But why did I stand there for 10 minutes as only one guy in line received service?
I do not recommend this store. Customer...
Read moreDon't use their printing service. They will take your money, never produce the print order, and not return the money they took. I am so upset with this store. A bit more... I ordered business card size cards and a poster that were needed urgently for a non-profit organization event. I paid online, was told it would be printed the next day, called to confirm their receipt. There was one reason after another for not printing for the next 3 days. Just one staff, too many orders. Printer broke down. Not sure what happened to the order. Never did they offer a refund - just excuses. I had to go find another provider and cancelled the orders after numerous phone calls to them. I have asked 3 times now for a refund of both orders (around $50) and it has been 7-10 business days and nothing. No email confirming my request for a refund. No credit back on my credit card. Very poor service from so many different angles. I will NEVER use a Staples for printing again and will do my best to not use their store for anything I need for my business or my client's businesses. One more thing... one of the staff at the store told me that she suggested that the store be closed 6 months ago because of the problems they have and decision makers decided to stay...
