My family and I enjoy goodwill and shop regularly at the one of fury's ferry but started to come here bc it's closer. We were coming weekly but NEVER AGAIN. The customer service from management at this location is the worst I've ever seen. They make announcements constantly that children can't touch the toys, use their intercom like a walkie talkie amongst employees, and the management is incredibly unprofessional.
I bought an electronic that said I just ask for the cord and an employee asked me to wait for the cord after I paid for it. A few minutes later they came back and told me there was no cord but I could buy one online. I decided I didn't want it bc I didn't want to pay the cost of the frame for an aftermarket cord. The employee called management to issue the refund and as soon as she got to the register she just looked at me and said "NO REFUNDS, ALL PURCHASES FINAL" I explained that I had just purchased it and was waiting on the cord, and had not even left the store but they said there was no cord. She replied "That's not my problem, no refunds" I then pointed out the tag that showed it was advertised as "ask for cord" and she yelled for the employee that helped me asking him why he couldn't find a spare cord somewhere and he told her that there were no 5v cords, all the rest could burn it up" to which she replied "just get her one, you don't mind do you?" And I told her NO I wanted the cord it came with or a refund. She became rude and said "I'm just gonna refund this bc I ain't got time for her, and when I tried to explain I already had one without a cord and didn't need another she cut me off and said "I told you I'm giving you a refund"
I had just spent $155 in the store and was astounded that this is how she treated a customer with a valid issue. I never would have bought it had it not came with a cord. This was the LAST time I'll be returning, although I'm certain from her demeanor she doesn't care anything about losing customers.
Would highly recommend going to the Salvation Army up the road, or the Fury Ferry location.
There are multiple reviews regarding the management issues at this store. Just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCustomer service is not a high priority. Do your math for what they charge before you get to the register!!! They will NOT correct their own mistakes.
They have a sign posted with the color on sale for 50% off. The cashier didn't check to ensure my items rang up correctly and I didn't see anywhere to see what she was typing up. I noticed the mistake on my printed receipt. She called the assistant Manger who incorrectly added up and divided by 2, when I corrected her she said "we don't charge tax". I tried explaining the simple math, she said fine, pick out items for that amount. I think she still thinks i was adding in tax. (Even though i had already brought up all the items i wanted to buy... I did go round up 2 more things, for the lower amount because ...i had already bought what i wanted and couldnt find anything else .. but im going to make my money work for me as best I can and im not spending more than i intended just because YOUR store made a mistake they refused to correct.)
She said they aren't allowed to do refunds. I pointed out it was THEIR MISTAKE not ME trying to returns items. Didn't even BEGIN to care.
Oh, and while we are here, they had A LOT of dollar tree items worth $1.25 for WAY more than $1. If it says Greenbriar on the back with an address and little else and the packaging is sub par... . It is worth $1.25. Just go ti dollar tree. Be on the lookout!! One item was $4.99! Come on.
To the person responding to all bad reviews. I'm NOT calling you. I spoke to your staff. I know your level of customer service....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am highly upset about your location in North Augusta address 1117 Knox Ave. in South Carolina my daughter, and I were shopping in the store today we had our service animal in training with us. My daughter was walking around the store holding him because he is her emotional support animal and manager came up to my daughter without me being there, and told my daughter that she had to leave the store immediately without me because she had a dog with her. This is highly unacceptable and I demand that someone reach out to me. My daughter is 12 years old, and was made to go outside, without even notifying me. My daughter told the store manager that she wanted to find her mother first in the store manager refused and told her that she had to go outside with the dog mind you this dog once again is a service animal in training and my daughter was physically holding him not once. Did he bark in the store or make a mess and he is all of 4 pounds. At no point should a store manager tell a 12 year old child that they have to go outside of the store without their parent or without notifying the parent of what is going on this is ridiculous. Iāve never been so upset weāve been to countless other goodwill, stores, and never had a problem...
