Mattress Firm Augusta North — Hotel in Aiken County

My wife and I desperately needed a new mattress. We pre-planned our store visits within our area to see and test out different beds. We began our adventure in North Augusta at Mattress Firm. It was our first and our last stop! (Yes...this is how awesome our experience was!)

We were warmly greeted by Ms. Evelina. She was very kind and helpful. She was able to assist and guide us according to our needs. Ms. Evelina gave us time as a couple to decide on what we loved the most. My wife fell in love with the zero gravity base for our mattress and Ms. Evelina gave us a deal we couldn't refuse.

We have had our new base and new mattress for five days now and we absolutely love it! We rest comfortably while reading in bed and sleep soundly. We both wake up feeling refreshed (and with less aches and pains). We highly recommend Mattress Firm and encourage those reading the reviews to check them out! You will not be disappointed with the amazing service and quality products.

Delivery day went as smoothly as possible. Ms. Evelina was able to have two courteous movers bring and set up our new base and mattress. (They had an earlier time and she called my wife to ask if they could come early...we loved that!)

The movers were kind and very courteous moving in and out of our home. They placed a carpet down on our carport from the truck to the side door and wore red booties in our home so they would not track in dirt.

The 2 star rating isn't based on our personal sales experience. We are giving this rating purely on our experience of trying to have our mattress inspected under our warranty. We went into to try and get information about starting inspection process. Our sales person sat down with me and proceeded to contact customer service to try and assist me. Since our purchase the inspection processed changed and we would have to put in our own inspection instead of Mattress Firm sending out a qualified inspection team. We are both have compression fractures and we were to lift, move, keep the mattress upright, and take photos. Something we are unable to do. We got an email saying normal wear and tear for a 3 year old mattress that springs are poking out of the sides and into your spine when laying down. We sent an email back asking what could be done and no response from Mattress Firm at all after 2 - 3 weeks. We went to Sealy directly and got a quick response back. They said it is a warranty issue that needs to be addressed with the retail store. Customer Care is a thing of the past. We never expected this type of run around when we heard such great recommendations from our families...

I went to browse at mattresses yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the friendly, smart, wise, and informative sales lady I encountered. A retired teacher selling mattresses to "make people happy" is her motto, and I am delighted that I purchased a mattress from Mrs. Evalina Montgomery. She did not hassle me in any way but wanted to be sure I was getting the most for my money and wanted to ensure I get a good night's rest. We tried several mattresses and pillows and she even took me through all the phases of the bed's base where you can get a massage, lift yourself up, get more lumbar support, and more. She made sure that I understood each step of the delivery process and that I got all the $300 worth of freebies. She also made sure that everything was in my budget as a fellow educator. She hugged me on the way out and made me feel truly valued, not only as a customer, but also as a person. Service with a smile.
