Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Aiken County

They have a lot of discounted merchandise but the values are not as good as they were for a couple of months after they opened the store some time ago.

I drop by from time to time and scan the aisles, sometimes buying one or two items. I have gotten good deals on vehicle mounts for my smartphones and tablet. Also, some of their food products are a good value but you must check the "use by" date on any food product you buy from Ollies. Some of what they sell have use by dates only a couple of weeks out, at most.

They do have a good selection/variety of products and I do buy other items from time to time. Most of the products are at least competitively priced. You do have to check to see if you are buying a "factory refurbished" product or brand new item.

I went to Ollie’s with my two granddaughters and allowed each of them to pick out a toy. The oldest found a Disney mermaid she wanted but unfortunately put it down to look around for maybe a better toy. When she decided on the mermaid, she couldn't find it. We looked everywhere!! Sad but it gets better…..One of the Store associates at the register, named Lauren heard our story and said she would look for it after she got off work at 5. Always nice cashiers, usually I deal with Lisa but she was off tonite, so Iwas in the line of a young blond cashier who was very pleasant and thankful for us customers coming in to shop..
