Five Below — Local services in Akron

First off, I have no issue with a company having asset protection. There are totally shady people that steal. That being said, I frequent this location and others several times a week. Yesterday, a very rude “new” employee that shouldn’t be working with the public, came up to me and in a very rude manner said she needs to ring my stuff up due to complications. Previously, a male employee did the same thing but he simply said, “let me help you ring up your items.” Do you see the difference?? He didn’t make it out like he was accusing me of something. She was rude and I feel she is racist towards white people. Or she thought I didn’t have money when I had 1000 dollars on my card. Not to mention she didn’t say a word to another woman who was having issues and couldn’t even ring her own stuff up. This woman was rude and you should rethink her employment. Just saying. A female employee stood next to my register the entire time which made me feel a little uncomfortable like I didn’t have space, she proceeded to watch this family who happen to be black, she closely watched them scan everything and would look over at my items when the family would look her way as if she wasn’t watching them but was watching me.
