Picker's Palace — Local services in Alamo

This is my go to bin store. Smaller than their other locations and their competitor, however this one is a gem 💎 tucked away next to the Dollar General off the expressway in Alamo. It's the best maintained store of it's kind in our area hands down! Speaking of 'hands down' expect to hear that or something similar, a lot. That's how they maintain it so well. There is an inspection table in the back so just take it back there, because you will hear it if you try to open the package at a bin, haha. Most of the staff is fantastic and helpful. I had seen some damaging comments about the owners on a couple (what seemed to be fake) profiles. So I decided to wait to put a review till I could confirm or deny any of the remarks. I've had a chance to interact with both owners. Both were courteous in my view, and treat everyone they interact with that I saw in the same manner. Just a fast paced driven husband a wife duo. So I can confidently say if you come across any comments, specifically ones that mention the owner in an attempt to damage the reputation. It's definitely a personal vendetta and not a reflection to the store, this location or any other one. My wife and I frequent this location and Hidalgo. Straightforward and honest review. Usually always have a good experience but today came for Black Friday and I ended up finding one of the tickets and one of the tables which I was very excited because I was under the impression because of the advertisement that it would be some airpods of phone a laptop normally something cool this time it was a broken house fan with a big old note on the side that said broken dish return product defective and that was my prize for waiting 2 hours in the cold and expedited to pay $15 for a broken fan very disappointed I don't even know why they would put that broken fan and the item for the ticket give away what normally it's reserve for high value items very disappointed especially since it takes a lot of work to find the tickets amongst all the people at amongst all the stuff because they do have a wide selection of stuff and it is kind of hard to find and when I finally found one turned out to be a broken fan Talk about deceptive/ misleading advertisement and there was another person who was next to me and they won an inflatable thing which they were also upset because those items were not listed to be part of the...
