Elite Spa — Local services in Alaska

Elite was a life saver! This place was recommended to me by a massage therapist. Called first thing in the morning to see if there was a same day appt and there was!

Place is clean and simple/peaceful. It looks like there's chair massage up front (like open area), private massage rooms and couples massage also.

I was led to a room to undress and lay face down. The therapist asked if I liked medium or hard pressure so I told her my preference. She did a great job with where I need it to be hard vs medium. Warning - at some point the therapist is likely to get on the bed to grab the bars on the ceiling to massage you with their leg/feet! This isn't unheard of in Asian massages but I feel more novel for Western massage. Barefoot massage has broken that barrier for Alaska I think - and let me tell you it feels good, especially if you need that additional pressure.

I will not be back. I came in as a walk-in and told them I wanted a 30 minute massage. During it I kept saying I only wanted 30 minutes. I accidentally fell asleep and next thing I know it's been 90 minutes. So instead of waking me up telling me my time was up they just kept the time running.

Not very professional for doing that and yes there is some blame on my part. But all I wanted was a quick 30 minutes that wasn't going to break my wallet.

This is the correct place. Instead of just 30 minutes. I got charged 90 at $140 as well as had to pay an extra $3 to use card so my total was $143. Definitely not cool trying to push this off or take...

I was in dire need of a massage after a long week of work and they were able to accept my fiancé and I last minute. They were very professional, the spa is very clean and tidy, and they knew exactly the areas to work on. Definitely recommended and the best massage in town! If possible, I’d give them 6 out of 5 stars. Thank you Elite Spa! Note: I almost forgot my run and they were so kind to call me after we had already left to return it to me....
