Park Mart Store — Local services in Alaska

Serious case of bait and switch! The large sign on the left side of the roof and another large sign on the building front makes it appear that this is 49th State Brewing, or at least a taproom for them. Nope, nothing of the sort. This "convenience" store happens to sell a few cans of 49th State Brewing along with dozens of other brands to go. And don't make the mistake of thinking you can bring the cans from one side of the store to other to grab some snacks to go with the beer when you check out....the older woman at the checkout counter will bite your head off. I get that Alaska must have some strange rules about purchasing alcohol separately from other items but to expect tourists from the rest of the planet that don't have such odd rules is unreasonable.
