I wanted some wine and I know Aldi the is the best place to buy it when you want to just grab and go. We needed to make dinner so we took a quick trip over to Aldi. This place is made like all the rest of them really they have a little bit of everything. I was a little disappointed in the aisle of shame I think that's what they call it. Is the aisle that have all the seasonal fines that you won't find anywhere else. It was lacking. I don't know what happened to it but there were some bear shelves in that aisle.
I made my way over to the spices and seasonings and it did not disappoint. Whenever I am in Aldi I will buy spices and seasonings because they're so cheap. The meat section was pretty good everything looked like it was fresh. On the end cap I happened to find some pumpkin cider and some cranberry cider. It was so good. If it's still there I recommend anybody buy it.
Next I went over to the wine section. You really can get like three or four bottles of wine for 20 bucks. The thing about it is they're not bad wines it's either they're pretty good. They even have Prosecco I was a little surprised by that. My only complaint about this store is that it did not have a handicap cart or buggy scooter whatever you want to call it. Some people cannot walk the floors of these stores. Please take that into consideration.
Oh and one other thing there was quarters lined up on the wall next to the buggies outside. I thought that was so sweet that someone was paying it forward and providing quarters to get a buggy. That was a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in Aldi today for its grand opening only to find out that they didn't have any electric wheelchair carts. So either I was going to leave and call corporate or try to shop without the wheelchair cart. I couldn't do it so the manager Charles said that he would push me in the wheelchair push cart so I could get some groceries. There was no one in his line because he was checking out customers. I told him what I needed and we took a cart and went shopping for me while my service dog and I waited up front for him to return. He then checked my groceries out and packed them in my bags and helped my dog and I to my car (while carrying my Louis Vuitton purse which looked good on him) lol. He put my groceries in my car and said have a good day. I truly did have a great day. Charles went above and beyond and I truly am grateful to him and to Aldi's for hiring such a caring person. Now please get the wheelchair cart in the store please. I have always loved Aldi and will always shop here. Thank you Charles again. God bless...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHave heard of this chain before but never been in one until. I definitely wasn't prepared to be shopping here. First off you have to have a quarter on you to the shopping cart. Since i haven't carried cash on me in nearly 20 years, I didn't have any change. Luckily, a woman returning her cart just let me have hers. Once inside, I was surprised by the lack of a selection to choose from. In most other stores, you have plenty of choices of name brands of a single item. That's not the case here, with the exception of the deli meat & cheese aisle. That looked to be the biggest draw of the store, and the only thing that would get me to return. Upon paying for my items, I was surprised to see that they didn't bag up the items because they didn't even have bags. I was definitely unprepared for that & just ended up having to throw loose items in the trunk of my car. Overall, not a good...
